It's been pretty obvious for a while Isana's dad knew what was going on. It's been heavily hinted at ever since Merry was first taken to their place and tried to sneak out in the night.

By the way, who is Hino-senpai? I can't remember. Is she the third year who was playing the trumpet who inspired Yui and Nao to join the music club?

Chapter 44 was so much better once Isana appeared, she has turned me into a real fan and an inspiration as to how all childhood friend genre characters should be IMO. On the more important not, Engi is turning out to be a real antagonist.

Annoying woman. I thought she was improved from her earlier antagonism by the POWER OF FRIENDSHIP, apparently not. I'm sure we'll have a story arc where she gets Yui in harm's way at one point and it will be angst.

I just reread the chapter with Nao and Yui, anyone else notice the blatant yuri context there, it was a mutual confession, looks like Yumeji harem just got reduced to a love triangle. I'm wondering what Merry wrote on the friendship wall in chapter 39, I think we will only get to see it at the very end if Merry does return to her post.

Which I've honestly suspected (and I imagine many others have as well) since the early chapters when Taka wouldn't allow Yumeji to scan his dreams and we found out what the black scan meant.

The latest chapter, I think it's ch 49 is out on Chinese sites now. Yumeji was put into distress for a while until Merry came to cheer him up. I wonder what Sonar was talking about in her conversation with Yumeji and co.

I just read through this whole manga. It looks like John and Sonar have figured out something about Pharos' plan, but they aren't exactly being clear about it.

I'm not sure how these kids are going to beat Pharos. When he beat down on Engi, he showed the same reality-breaking power that Merry had when she totally flipped out. That, and the keys she had then, probably represent the full manifestation of her power as the gatekeeper, but she has no idea how she did it. I don't know how Pharos can do it, but it's probably going to take Merry's full power to take him on, and she's not ready yet.

Even if they can beat him, from the sound of things the situation is only going to get worse so long as Merry is away from her post. Kids need to find a way to get her back to the gate soon.

Another chapter is out, folks.

Before they set out to defeat Heracles, Merry insists on bringing Clione along to have some fun in her host's body. However, after a while Merry starts to feel weak, and finally just collapses. At the same time, Yumeji feels a pain in the back of his hand, where he's sometimes felt it before after a trip to the dream world.

It's unclear what's going on, but it's definitely not good. The entirety of their plan (such as it is) hinges on Merry being able to defeat Heracles. Kids need to figure out what's wrong with her and fix it fast, or everything's going to go to hell.
