Hi there, need some help on Shinjipierre's Script. Since AE CS5 installed, the script doesn't seem to work properly. I have an error on line 223 :

EDIT: Removed previously deprecated fileGetDialog, filePutDialog, and folderGetDialog functions. Use File.openDialog, File.saveDialog, and Folder.selectDialog instead. The latter work in older versions of After Effects, too.

Just need to replace fileGetDialog

Let's check what that means.

"syl2end" means "change start time of line to end time of syllable, end time of line remains".
Then add 0 milliseconds to the line start time, so that stays at syllable end time.
Then add $kdur*100 milliseconds to end time. So if you have a syllable with duration 18 (centiseconds), you add 18*100=1800 milliseconds, or 1.8 seconds, to the end time. This might not be what you want.

But you never told what the problem was. If you tried describing what exactly you see go wrong, maybe you'd answer your own question before you're done asking it.

I don't see what should be wrong with that. (Except that you probably mean "loop 10" rather than "pool 10".)

Well technically, you should be using "%02x" rather than "%2x" for format strings, since the bytes need to be 2 digits always, but since you're only giving large numbers that shouldn't be an issue.

Also, you could shorten it by using a single format string: string.format("%02x%02x%02x", math.random(200,255), math.random(200,255), math.random(200,255))

Actually, depending on exactly what you want to do, utils.lua has a bunch of functions you may find useful. (Remember that they are in the global namespace, not the one templates run in, so you need to prefix the functions with _G. to use them.)
