Electricity properties seem closer to those of water imo but that doesn't really matter at this time. mabey this is the reason they introduced the second container. he can hold fire in one and lightning in the other perhaps. or it could just mean a power up but it kinda takes me back to eating god fire he has to have an empty container to do it. mabey the second container is his empty container for lightning.... I kinda got the feeling sting is developing an even bigger man crush on Natsu for some reason

Well, Sting has used Natsu as his 'blueprint' so it's natural that he'd look up to him in some fashion, even if it's to overtake him. Same thing with Rogue towards Gajeel. I see a big personality switch if either of them get to take on their particular 'idol'.

BTW! LEVY-CHAN should have substituted for Jellal, give her a purpose you bastards! Why the hell she doesn't get to use the power up she got to impress Gajeel?
Oh it's just me but I guess Erza will dominate that event in the typical Erza style... Not even Jura can hope for victory now.

"Pandemonium" turning out to be the game for the third day is pretty much exactly what I'd expected.

And I'm hoping the reason Cana is standing in for Jellal is because Erza did the sensible thing and warned Jellal that there are at least two people out for his blood participating in the tournament.

I'm kind of hoping we actually get to see some of the game's action; some of the images seem more like snippets from pages rather than whole pages themselves.

I still find your immense hate for her hilarious. Maybe only because you never mention anything about Laxus or others who have done wrong, so i guess that's why i never got the hate.

Personally, I'm super excited to see her back. Though, i would want to see Levy, but i don't think she would fit into Team B. Team A for sure tho. Hopefully now we don't have to worry about Jellal's identity revealed.

I thought she lost that magic though. She's been training, but i dunno if she'd get the power to do that spell. I think Mashima just wants to rotate all the Tenrou folks in to battle. I'm sure we may see Lisanna at some point. And Laxus still needs to fight. I don't care who wins, I just want Obra to lose.

Eh...well yes, Luxus was a complete douch and I still resented him for what he did. But in Cana's case it felt like it was a much more personal and bigger betrayal (mind you I like Lucy but she is nowhere near the OMG FAV FEMALE EVAH spot).
Luxus was established from his first appearance that he was an asshole that didn't seem to fit in FT at all. He never once showed to care about FT's members so when he betrayed the guild with his battle royal it didn't feel like that big a stab in the back. Not only that but also, while he was harming members and thinking of getting rid of the weak, Luxus felt like he was doing it for the guild's sake (he was totally wrong and twisted but it showed that he cared about the guild when he was doing it)
Cana was always established as guild member to the cure with FT's nakamaship infused deep into her. I remember the Phantom Lord arc and how she acted during. But then she backstabs Lucy (who only went to help her), leaving her unconscious during an enemy attack and leaves the rest of her guild mates to hang in their time of need for her own selfish reasons. Luxus, in his own twisted way, was trying to help the guild get better and stronger but Cana was only looking out for herself at the time of her betrayal.

Not only that but, Luxus was exiled from the guild for what he did (yes, he came back and whatnot but he was still punished) but Cana? She cried a bit and received a pardon from Mavis herself along with Fairy Glitter...and after the battle was over everyone was all buddy buddy with her as if nothing happened, Cana received no punishment at all (don't give me any of that She punished herself BS), hell she even got to fix things with daddy dearest in the meantime.

About Cana's backstabing, the reason she was in the guild in the first place is her father. She was becoming desperate, so somehow her betrayal makes sense. She got away easy because nobody knew about it. And yes, she did not rerpent, but she did realize her mistake, before it really hurt anyone (unlike Laxus)

Everyone has a reason for joining the guild. Luxus joined because he grew up in it and admired FT. It doesn't justify betrayal in the least.

Desperation also doesn't excuse putting your friend in danger and abandoning the rest to continue an exam, only a moron would think was still active, just to get an advantage over the ones that at the time were fighting for their lives.

Lucy knew and she was all smiles and giggles afterward. And please, you know that even if Makarov and the rest knew they would have don't nothing judging by the way things were going.

She realized her mistake before anyone got hurt...and Luxus showed that he never really considered anyone in FT an enemy. The first one is like saying "I started firing a gun into a crowed but didn't hit anyone, so everything is good" and the second is like saying "I beat the crap out of you, but I still think of you as my friend" ... none of it excuses their behavior in the least. Bottom line is, she put Lucy in a position where she could have gotten killed (and nearly was) and left everyone else hanging when they sure as hell needed back-up.

It's funny, a little punishment (even a small one) from Makarov, a slight hint of resentment from Lucy or anything like that and I would be totally cool with Cana now...but right now it feels like she completely broke character, betrayed her friends and got away with it without any punishment at all. This bugs me and ruined Cana (who was one of my favorite gals in FT BTW).

I'm ok with Cana being back as long as Hiro doesn't fuck up again. I feel with Randrak when it comes to not liking what happened with her during S-class, however I blame it on Hiro for not pulling that off well rather than on her (back at the time I hate ranted, too though )

Emotional people say and do things that we find distasteful. For instance, your hate for her is emotional, and from our point of view, makes your continued posting about the subject to be distasteful. You don't like what Cana did. We don't like what you're doing.

Of course, from your point of view, you are being fairly logical and straightforward... it's just that everyone is wrong, right?

The ability to properly analyze and empathize, comes from being able to see exactly where each person is coming from. In our case, we know why Cana did what she did, and know it was bad. But we know that only makes her human, not bad.

I like my characters with flaws. It makes them just like you: human.

I only made one comment regarding the new chapter. The rest is a response to others about the subject. You want me to stop talking about it then tell everyone else to stop bringing it up. If someone comments to me regarding it I WILL respond.

I never once said that everyone else is wrong and I'm right. I know full well that people have their own opinion on the subject and I have yet to try to "convert" anyone to my side. I merely state my own opinion on the subject, I don't push it into people's faces (I even put it in spoiler tags so people don't accidentally read it and be offended for some absurd reason).
I am also well aware that part of my reasoning on the subject comes from an emotional standpoint...but what of it? Everyone's opinions on everything is in part influenced by their emotions, it just so happens that I have stronger emotions about this subject than the rest.

Me too. But her flaws lead to actions I do not agree with and then Mashima played it out horribly from there, in my opinion.

the issue for me is not Hiro depicting her as a flawed human but doing so in an rushed, unconvincing way: her background and motivations are sound but imho Hiro didn't make as much of it as he should have. Overall the whole matter left a bad taste for me, giving the impression he didn't do this to develop Kana's character but rather did her story there as one of many possible so far neglected characters that needed some screentime, he figured out a nice backstory but didn't really put too much heart into breathing life into it. To me, i.e. the way she dealt with Lucy didn't suck due to her human failure as such but because Hiro failed to make it convincing. (at least after I got over my initial rant at her )

On another matter, as far as I am concerned people are entitled to have and express their personal opinion on such matters (edit: be they emotional or not). Thank you for being so kind to including "us" all in "your" personal opinion but I prefer to express my own and I do not see why itis neccessary to pick on Randrak for this, this happens to be ONE issue he feels strongly on, no reason to get personal like you did there.

Then, just to let you know, so you are informed... everytime the subject of Cana comes up and you restate this, it does come across as pushing it into other people's faces. We know you don't like Cana, or what she did in the Tenrou arc. We know already. You don't need to keep bringing it up.

Although I've found that, in every forum, there is always someone who repeatedly brings up something they don't like, which generally annoys the other fans on the forum. I'm sure you don't want to be that guy.

In short: we've been over Cana, that arc is done with, let's move on. Please.

That's why we have opinions. You think I was being personal, when I say I was not. I was putting into perspective, how other people do perceive the attitudes and statements. You feel you properly interpreted my attitude and motivations for actions. I wasn't; I was drawing a contrast to showcase Randrak's issue.

Randrak is annoyed with Cana's actions. I (and no, I"m not the only one) am becoming a bit annoyed at Randrak's actions. Are we both right? Or both wrong? Are we allowed to continue to state and restate our feelings over and over?

An opinion is fine. But if you want to bring tact into it, there's a larger angle you're ignoring. But I think this board would be well served if we all dropped this now, don't you think?
