Frantic Farming is just a puzzle game, do not want.
According to play-asia Rune Factory 3 comes out October 22nd so I'm holding out for that. Whee!

Harvest Moon: Frantic Farming is no doubt a puzzle game where you move the sprite while trying to do combos with matching vegetables and crops. There are also score attack mode which is pretty much the same thing as story mode without the story. The game is nothing like Rune Factory or the original Harvest Moon series.

Rune Factory 3 is scheduled to be released in North America in the spring... but knowing then, they're probably going to push the date back further

I can't remember the last time I waited for the NA release of a Harvest Moon game. I hate waiting for HM games, especially since they take so long and come out buggy anyway.

The latest news we heard about it was in early summer and all they mentioned was it's still being worked on.

I knew there was an old Harvest Moon thread out there somewhere.

The next release will be Harvest Moon: Twin Villages, coming out for the Nintendo DS in February 2010. The screenshots look reminiscent of Welcome to the Wind's Bazaar, which was quite decent.
