News from the Bioware Livestream. The new Human Talon Mercenary is an engineer who has a passive ability that REGENERATES GRENADES. Mind, it's based on weight, so light weapons are still a must. Also, his Heavy Melee is the Omnibow, which is a ranged attack, and not recommended for CQC.
The Geth Juggernaut looks to be the go-to character for Solo Bronze and Silver. "Though this platform proceeds via manual locomotion through the valley of termination, this platform shall not experience trepidation towards diabolism, for this platform is the matron fornicator of greatest size in the valley."

Yeah, but I've got something like ten of those.
Actually, after Earth came out, I've actually stopped using armor and weapon mods. Got a shitload of ammo and Gear, which gets the most use. Usually I only play a few hours on the weekend for the weekend challenge, so while I have 0 Medigel and Survival Packs, I also have 250 thermal clips and 40 missiles. I think I'm going to spend the next few nights farming Dagger Geth Silver; I find that in a PuG, using the N7 Paladin gives me the best margin of survival if the other players are idiots. Also, EXPLOSIONS EVERYWHERE. I do regret not learning how to do tech explosions until after the farming area on White was patched out. -_-

Eh, tech explosions are easy after the patch. Freeze, Shock or Fire effect, apply Force or different element from priming effect to make it go boom.
As for consumables, I always end up cleanup crew, thus I am eternally out of rockets. I have like 200+ for the other items though. |

Yeah, I realise they're real easy with the N7 Paladin. The problem is that I only discovered the joys of tech bursts after White got patched, lol.
For me, Dagger is the best place to farm Geth, if everyone stays in the circular balcony and keeps their head on a swivel, as you've got great lines of fire to the two most common spawn locations, and can quickly reorient if they're coming at other angles. ...also, surprisingly, I have an Ultra Rare. The Volus Protector. Aka BIOTIC GOD.

I tried to grind Gold in preparation for Reckoning, I really did.
But every single time I was playing, the parents kept chasing me to do things for them. FIVE GAMES I had to drop out of. Two were Wave 10. T___T Argh. Well, I guess I'll try the Biotic God later tonight. Here's to hoping I get a Geth Juggernaut, because Lowe Gear has one, and holy fucking hells the Geth Juggernaut is awesome. It can be summed up this way: "Though this platform proceeds via manual locomotion through the valley of termination, this platform shall not experience trepidation towards diabolism, for this platform is the matron fornicator of greatest size in the valley." Seriously it can stand out in the open on Bronze and Silver and fight off everyone and everything alone. It can kill a group of Brutes and Banshees on Silver WITHOUT missiles. (Immunity to sync kills really helps here.) On Gold, it's the perfect aggro tank to get enemies to focus on it while the teammates kill the enemies. It'll probabbly get nerfed within the next couple of weeks, lol

Yeah, but if you didn't have random packs, it wouldn't be possible to string people along to keep playing. I mean, I'm coming up to one year of ME3, and I still play quite a fair bit; about 4 or so hours a week, usually for the weekend challenges.

I don't know why but there were a few cases where everyone was mobbing me, several prateorians and scions and half a dozen troops and the whole time I kept asking myself where the hell was my team? I lasted at least 2-3 minutes and killed half of them before dying and it turned out my team was on the other side of the map. This is on Gold. You know if a Juggernaught is being mobbed it's a good idea to focus fire on the guys attacking him.... In any case the fact that the Juggernaught is slow and cannot use cover makes him extremely vulnerable. The talon on the other hand...the OMNI bow IMO isn't that great but the Cain trip mine oh boy. I wiped out so many people with that thing. |

Been trying out the Talon. Omnibow sucks ass, but the Cain Trip mine is pretty sweet. I'm going to respec to dump my stats into cain trip mine and focus on its damage, and buff the other powers just to get more mines, and then add the grenade capacity mod.
Krogan Warlord is pretty boss with that hammer. I need to respec to max out Electrical Hammer, Rage and passsive, then maybe buff tech armor some more. Need to be a bit more mobile with this class, as he can't take cover for shit. Using him with a Reegar Carbine is actually pretty darned fun. Glacier Bronze Solo, here I come. But I still want the Geth Juggernaut. While Gold is an issue, Bronze and Silver can be soloed.

I once played my Juggernaut in a Reaper Gold lobby with some awesome guys - a Krogan Warlord, a Talon Merc, and a Paladin Sentinel - and they understood how the Juggernaut works. They'd let me tank the big bosses and lured them to me, and while I stood there like a boss, my team cut them down. It was the fastest and easiest Gold games I ever played, and you could hear the other guys laughing on how OP the Juggernaut was Too bad the lobbies I got into afterwards didn't have a team so understanding, and would leave me behind while they went around trying to do Gold the old-fashioned way, hence getting us wiped.

Once I get a reset I'll respec out of OMNI bow and into health since the Cain mines are the only good thing about it. Good lord an Atlas's health was reduced by 3/4 simply by me placing 3 mines at his feet. Though this was after I brought his shields down. Quote:
I also respec my juggernaught for Turret healing and 4x damage reduction with the siege pulse. It's too slow to use as an offensive power and I spec into heavy tank with an assault ramp to cancel out the damage penalty. With a Reegar for CQC and a Prothean particle rifle I'm able to deck out a lot of damage and I've been having a lot more success. For the Warlord I'm going to spec out of armor damage and into more charges for the hammer. Maybe more useful that way. The others I'm still figuring out. |

Electric Force Choke is win. Everytime I see a Juggernaut, I know in my heart that victory is at hand, as all I need to do is take out the mobs while the Juggernaut's maintaining aggro.
Though I wonder - if a Juggernaut is force choking an enemy and I kill it, does it recharge its shields or only after the enemy dies? Also, from my observations last night, it looks like the Siege Pulse can detonate fire explosions.

The Juggernaut recharges its shields as it's killing the enemy, which is why the Juggernaut is nearly unkillable when it's choking something. Killing the enemy that the Juggernaut is choking only cuts off the recharging process, but depending on how long it's been choking the enemy beforehand its shields should've fully regenerated by then as long as the Juggernaut isn't taking heavy enemy fire.
