Wow, I read up to volume 6 of the translated version in a few days and I see why people in the anime thread were complaining. The anime is okay as far as anime go but this light novel is really engaging. I definitely didn't expect to like this as much as I do. I didn't understand why such a series had 3000+ posts but now I completely understand.

(Also, Mariya is adorable

I just read that magic can only heal physical injuries however it cannot heal illness that is why even though Amakasu is a very skilled wizard he still catch a cold. So is it possible for campione to die due to illness.

No, they've got perfect health. And I think there should be remedies for illnesses, too, they might just be limited, e.g. to witchcraft. However, I have no confirmation for this.

I think that when they become campione, Their body reborn without fault and much toughter than human.
So, i don't think they will die from illness.
Can you imagine Voban has influenza?
Or Godou has AIDS?

good point sandhy..

however i think they are not totally immune to some diseases.

If there DNA has changed to a point where they are not even human, then, you can also say disease wont work on them, because most human diseases arent xenotropic.
Meaning they cant infect another species.

However there are some diseases which are.

So id say more like if the disease was created by the wrath of god to infect everything alive, then possibly.
(but godou can easily dispel that with words of power)
If its a normal disease only works on human, then possibly not.

More than disease (science), this LN is more like supernatural. So I am affraid that it is curse.
If curse, most likely that Campione can infected.

After reading the lastest update, it seem Godou hasn't fully heal yet. now nothing can stop the girl from healing Godou now hahaha.

Does Annie known about the battle between Godou and Luo Hao?
