I still love how Himeji is so overly cutesy but in a way that makes it hilarious as hell to watch and makes you know that she's a joke character like any other. The picnic basket scene was just great.

They also choose maid cafe as their classroom's theme to make money for the same, but is repeatedly harassed by delinquent students.

3) Off-school study trip

All students embark on a school-sponsored field trip to improve their grades and camaraderie. However, Aki finds himself under blackmail by an unknown female who could only be identified by a scar on her buttocks, and in an attempt to erase the bad reputation that may result from its revelation, he and Yuuji rally Class F to fight for the opportunity to peek at the girls' showers and identify the culprit. Their opponents: Every female and teacher in the trip. Unfortunately, this and dozens of misunderstandings along the way threaten to sink Aki's dismal social stature even further than the blackmail ever could.

Aki accidentally sends a text message love confession to Minami (instead of Himeji, I believe). This starts off another string of problems.

Akihisa's sister returns from a one-year absence, and proceeds to return the house to its former ways -- with her oppressive, iron grip over every part of his life. In a bid to convince her that he is following every rule she used to set, Akihisa cleans up, takes care of himself, and tries to be a model student, attracting everyone's suspicion.

Okay, Just to correct a few mistake

1. For volume 3, Aki doesn't send the message to Himaji, but to Sugawa(a friend in class F which turns into unnamed person in the anime. The message said "Of course I am, I love more than Yuuji or Hideyoshi(no object said in the message because of how the japanese language work. The question from Sugawa that lead to this message was "Aki, do you really like girls?(everybody thought he like Yuuji or Hideyoshi more than girls)

2. For vol 4, it's a continuation with the wrong message to Minami. Minami thought it was indeed a confession and kiss Aki at the beginning of the novel, which of course she denied when finding out that it was not for her. In this volume, Minami also fight with Aki becuz of how he always thought Minami as tomboyish. Basically, this volume is a character development on Minami and how Aki thought of Minami.

3. Aki's sister return on his parents order to check how he lives his daily life(and to make sure he improve his bad mark). Something to note, Aki's sister has a big brother complex, and the reason aki takes care of the house is becuz to show that he lives well(instead of taking a 1/64th part of instant ramen for breakfast) and make his parent doesn't cut his allowance.

4. Vol 6 is about a teacher-student sports meet. They're doing a shoukanju baseball match with the teacher.

Basically, even in the novel, there's no one big plot of story behind this series. This series is just about everyday life of baka, and how that even as a baka, they have some talent and good point that people shouldn't overlook.

Heh, this show seems to have a ton of memes and references. The most since..... Seitokai Ichizon (not too far off since then )

The most funny one to me is the totally random placement of the Hurt-Goku-DBZ reference that has been flying around in 2ch recently.

I think for me I don't need that overall big plot, it's fine with the everyday shenanigans of the gang.
Just like with Seitokai no Ichizon, I don't think a overall plot would have worked there.
but saying that I really do love everyday series, they can be an immensely great watch/read compared to the serious or deep stuff.

Okay... I think I can empathize with Yuuji now.

As of how I read his character description when it comes to Shouko, he thinks that she has a few screws loose in her head. I can't help but think the same as well and be creeped out the same as well. That's from a "normal" person POV for me. Doesn't matter how pretty and smart she is, I'd still be freaked out by her personality.

So I sort of understand why he tries to avoid Shouko.

EDIT: I am surprised that Yuuko didn't show up, as she usually shows up with Shouko and Aiko.

To be honest, it was quite boring. There were a couple of funny parts, but in general, the jokes are all repeated for the nth time and there wasn't anything new done. A fanservice episode, so I didn't expect plot movement, but if they are going to repeat the same type of jokes everytime, I wish some type of story happens soon...

And, ugh... Pathetic. How can those two get a nosebleed over loli + big breasts... (--_--)
There isn't anything worse than that combination...!

Granted, it's funny the first few times but its lost its "magic." Now and then is fine but still.

I sort of agree about the show waning some of its luster at delivering comedy. Then again, it is very very difficult to sustain a script that can consistently deliver fresh material. I guess other than evoking laughter now and then, the other thing that attracts me to this show are those tid-bits of romance-in-the-air. Yuji-Shouko is w1n!

Episode 6 was good, certainly better than episode 4.
