Given the way it's stored, I'm forced to conclude the Unicorn probably popped the sabres and caught it somehow. Beyond that, we're going to have to just go with it

I think it’s the same case with how Nataku (in Endless Waltz) is able to spin its beam trident with his hands like a Kung-Fu master even though it has two huge Dragon Fangs that clearly obstruct its hands from doing anything fancy. The same thing also happens in SEED with how Justice can easily drop down its glider onto its shoulder without breaking its long V-fin in the process. It’s the “kewl factor” I guess .

Even with the extra boosters it doesn't seem like the FA Unicorn would have the same maneuverability, is it meant to be stationary or something? Seems like you would feel as if you're piloting a tank.

It got the same (dont forget, were in space, all of its thrusters are still functional and nothing is blocked), its just easier to hit due to larger mass lol, but that does not really matter with its new I-field setup

I loved the episode, it was crazy Mineva, Full Frontal and Banagher on the same ship along with Londo Bell I never expected that to happen. So i'm guessing now there's going to be two Neo Zeon factions now one led by Full Frontal and one led by Mineva ? I wonder what's going to happen to Mineva hope she doesn't pull a Lalah

the build up to the final fight was amazing. all that animation budget. and the perspective of Unicorn coming from above Banshee. since in space, there is no up or down. it does a remarkable job at painting good and evil.

It is rather unfortunate, but I've been crazy busy, and as such, have not had the time to listen (until now!).

He was already exhibiting newtype traits, he had really good intuition in episode 1, not sure i should count his eyesight in that to. I believe he is a natural newtype.

That's one thing I'm curious about. Maybe Cardeas had always meant to give the Unicorn to Banagher (or simply found use of his Newtype characteristics) and used his neural pathways to construct the NT-D system. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

Im sorta with helius been thinking on the same lines but I've also been thinking. Cardeas' dream was that Banagher be the pilot of the unicorn. He said it before he died "finally my dream has come true" but his dream could be anything but when Syam is talking at the beginning of episode 4, "God is toying with us or perhaps Cardeas' dream or rather mankinds dream has been fulfilled. Banagher, my own flesh and blood." It seems Cardeas may have had the La+ program submit to only Banagher and luck that He stumbled across the unicorn later on. May also explain why he gets the flash backs of the tapestry, I dont think Banagher is a cyber newtype, I see no reason for Cardeas to create him as one and Banagher isnt an articially created human. Cardeas entrusts Banagher with His dreams, this involves the openning of the box because He believes it is right, He has faith in mankind and that newtypes are emerging.
