Does anyone know of any minimalist anime series? Pared down story, little to no dialogue, stylish.

The manga Tonari no Seki-kun is the only thing that leaps to mind.

Yeah, something like Kino's Journey, Serial Lain or Ghost in the Shell.

You'd be hard-pressed to match Angel's Egg. I don't know if there's any anime of similar length with as little dialogue. Oshii made it, and he made the Ghost in the Shell movies as well.

Texhnolyze.. No dialogue at all in the first episode and same creator as Lain. Powerful stuff.

Aku no Hana might be to your liking. It's somewhat minimalistic, and there's one scene that features the two leads walking home with no music or dialogue for six minutes straight.
