It's not hard when your enemy's best tank is a T-26, or Pz. I. When did China get the M4?
I guess the game would'nt be very fun. From the Japanese perspective you just keeping fighting the same guys over and over again, including civilians, and from the Chinese side you'd have to deal with issues like starting a battle with no ammo (stolen by corrupt officers), being attacked by poison gas, and having no air support. Oh and if it were an RTS like CoH you would have the issue of your enlisted men constantly trying to desert.

By late 1942 and early 1943 actually, but they weren't in great numbers. China received less than 1,000 by the end of the war. But by late 1942 ~ 1943, the harshest Japanese attacks subsided due to being redeployed elsewhere.

I'm really loving how the intelligent commander is slowly revealing her true potential. Can't wait for the next episode

While the President-team is still as hot-tempered, impatient and next to worthless as ever. Someone need to tell that bitch to shut it. She is going to ruin it for everyone else. OTOH, the STUG Team is improving vastly, and I like.

Hm, I liked this episode. I love their presentation of the Americans who have whatever the hell they want. It truly does justice to the Arsenal of Democracy.

Ah thanks. The Chinese front was such a clusterfuck, it's really hard to make sense of it.

Yes, you have to assemble and paint them yourself. And they're not Bandai snap-kit models, so you need to use actual model glue to build them.

You know, after looking at Saunders, and this probably applies to the Russian team as well, I thought to myself: What a staggering number of tanks...

Holy shit, if they wanted to start a war... they can!

It was, wasn't it? It wasn't just Nationalist vs. Japanese. It was Faction A Nationalist vs. Faction B Nationalist vs. Communist vs. Local Warlords vs. Japanese. But China survived. You gotta hand it to them, what China pulled off, as a whole, is nothing short of a miracle.

I like how they are presented as well. I think Saunders, thus far, the only school thats having fun.

Ah, what the hell, we have so much food, lets share with our enemies...

LOL~ The play on National stereotypes is amusing. First the Americans, and then Black Forest certainly has the high n' mighty attitude. And this may be a trend, but it would appear, if a character is to represent Germany, she gotta have silver hair.

I suggest just getting the tried & tested Tamiya kits and paint it. They are better built, same scale and cost 1,000 yen less.

Just wondering, what does it say at the back of the Hippo's Squad tank? In front is Julius Caesar's "I came, I saw, I conquered.", but what's does it say at the back in German?

Original quote from Rommel was: Vergiesst Schweiss, aber kein blut.

Shed sweat (Vergiesst Schweiss), but not blood (aber kein Blut).

about the jumbotron display for the audience.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krupp_K5

the Krupp K5 28cm railgun "Leopold" has a total travel length of 30 meters (98ft)
(with gun folded into the carriage)

so measuring the monitor and screen area in the footage, working out the ratio.

monitor 19.25X12.25 meter
actual screen area 18.1X10.1 meter.

I wish I have one at home...

So there is no way I'm getting them then. That's something I can never do right.

The only one you would need to buy would be the Stug III to get the flags for it.

Episode 6 delayed for a week. Apparently some guy within the production team screwed up royally, so it'll be a recap instead for next week....

I am inspired by the STUG III's decoration they used in GuP, but I want to mix Furinkazan with Bishamonten (just for the heck of it!). Since I have a color scheme in mind, I think I will be doing that on one of my Tamiya kits while adding my own banners. Can't justify buying a 3.6k yen kit for just banners, lol.

That is, if I even have the time, lol.
