I have two new ideas.... planning to focus on them first since they feature Ichika as main character.

Spoiler for First idea:

A girl whose body has special "trait", becoming friend with Ichika and co.

and

An antagonist male IS pilot who seek to kill the girl.

He pilot a black version of Byakushiki: Genyaki
With similar stats and ability
Being the "dark" version of Byakushiki.... and IS don't have same One-off ability, it has similar but stronger version of Reiraku Byakuya: Reiji Anya....

If both unit activate their one-off at the same time, the one who is going to lose is Byakushiki... because Reiji Anya don't negate energy, instead it achieve the same effect by draining energy.

The sadistic choice: Save the girl who Ichika came to knew well enough to be considered friend with or save a group of people who (are forced to) undergo military experiment and end up wrong, they will die within few month if the girl is not killed.

Although suffering from the same condition as the group, the Genyaki pilot would not die if the girl remain alive (being the only successful subject) but he is willing to kill the girl to save the group....

Spoiler for Third Option or Morton's Fork:

If any one of experiment subject die, the death will render the girl into comatose and free the rest from the curse permanently.

Yes, the girl is doomed from the very beginning: She had only a few months to be normal before falling into comatose.

Alternate Ichika.
Alternate version of Wilder version Ichika.....who dared to talk back to Chifuyu when he felt injustice..... If Chifuyu hit him with something, he will scold/argue back at her...well, until she beat him into submission anyway

An "ally of Justice" with a strong sense of uprightness and tendency to undo violence onto evil, because of his violent past of sending people into hospital, people avoided him, transforming into him into somewhat a loner who do not interact much with others.....

This version of Ichika is somewhat similar to Chifuyu: Aloof and no-nonsense.

Out of sheer irony: He is wilder than normal Ichika due to Chifuyu's Kendo training.... because he misunderstood the meaning behind Chifuyu's training and went the wrong way.....

He learned that "Violence solve problems" and misunderstood the meaning of real sword as: "The responsibility of the strong: to protect the weak and never hesitate to cut down enemy when the time comes."

He uses violence to solve his problem, beating up thugs and bullies. Unfortunately, it works.... too well.

Resulting in a wilder guy who tend to act a little like delinquent who is still a nice guy inside (Note: Not the same kind of Delinquent as that One-eye Ichika.... he has no follower, no sense of Gang-leader but is admired by lots of girls...well, girls who are bullied by guys anyway.)

This result in alternate development to Byakushiki....

It can work multiple ways in one as well.

Khaled/Kalahsa is extremely capable in air combat, with her abilities and extremely powerful IS combining to become an even more potent force.

I think so. Houki Shinonono; she helps out at her family shrine sometimes.

Now, I think I've come to a decision for Project Silverback's OP for the "second arc".
