whats wrong? u dont have to watch it if u dont want to...there is a lot of ppl who enjoy this so called " cookie cutter high school romances we've been getting lately (except with a big guy as the main character), where the leads have angsty backstories and it's all melodramatic and wangsty"

I'm not surprised by the high rating. From what I've read of the manga, this is a cotton candy show -- it's impossible not to like it. The problem with cotton candy, though, is it's something you eat when it's there, but you never feel like, "Hmm, I really want some cotton candy tonight."

Madhouse nailed the first episode. Fantastic efforts all around. You can always count on them to deliver a solid adaptation of whatever material they're working with and this one was no exception.
I'm guessing episode two will cover the rest of the first chapter at this pace which is just fine by me. The music was quite nice too. Everything about this was wonderful.

Episode 1:
From the artwork to the narrative and the chemistry between the three main leads, I think I'm going to enjoy this show a lot. Seems like pacing is kinda slow for now but that's okay. It's the first episode so story will pick up faster. I think it might take me awhile to get used to Yamato's voice though because it's so soft and girly; in contrast to Takeo. However, they are both VERY kind. Solid start overall. This has a lot of potential although I'm VERY curious to see how they will adapt this by Madhouse.

Ep 01
Wow. Well, this was another series I was anticipating, and I thought the first ep delivered - pretty faithful to the source material from what I remembe, too. Insta-follow. ^^

So. Friggin. Cute. Pribably the most heartwarming series this season.
+every seiyuu simply nailed their roles. Megumi Han once again has proven that she is ine of the most versatile voice actresses of current generation. Last edited by AntonKutovoi; 2015-04-08 at 15:55. |
