Basically Catherine was a burglar cat that robbed Otose, got caught, worked at the shop and robbed her again, kinda like how it was in a certain classic story...I think Gin was in the story too but I'm not too sure.

In the anime it was stated by Kagura that Otose was introduced in 12th episode . BTW, I loved the explanation why there is an apostrophe next to Gintama (i.e. Gintama', I wonder if there will be Gintama'' next).

Now I'm tempted to rewatch the 12th episode. Well, just because she first appeared in ep 12 doesn't mean it was fully dedicated to her, though it makes sense, heh.

Ah, I forgot about this one. I looked it up and it was episode 97 - so a long time after her introductory episode. That's the third epsiode where she hogged the spotlight then, which is still not a lot

I'm really looking forward to the next episode. For starters, because it focuses on Sa-chan, and secondly because I haven't read that chapter! The episodes are not quite as enjoyable when you know what's going to happen. I'm glad I managed to resist reading the latest chapters.

Yeah i'm the same. I started reading the manga after the first season ended because i wanted Gintama in my life. I don't regret reading what i did, though thanks to that, i plan to buy the manga from the beginning.

I liked it Dunno why but I always found Catherine to be hilarious, maybe it's cause of her accent Sweet ending, too.

I think that's partly why I'm not regretting my decision to not read the manga. I read the first couple chapters but just found the anime to be much more engaging. And now that I'm caught up to the Yoshiwara arc in S1 (EPIC EPIC EPIC), I feel all set for the rest of the second season

The first half of the episode was kind of meh compared to Sa-chan's usual antics, but things got hilarious in the second half once Gin and the others invaded Zenzou's house. That epic rice cooking scene

I never thought this was going to be a two parter. Looking forward to the conclusion next week.
