I wonder if it's split cour/season like Fate, but I'm fine with that.

God Eater Fes is going on right now, and we're apparently supposed to get new information on the anime. Hopefully, we get a new PV in place of the cancelled screening.

Story-wise, there's not a whole lot to GE1 for it to be 2-cour. =/

Now that I think about it, you're right. At least a proper season 2 should be on-lock after this.

That they haven't even finished episode 1 for the pre-screening earlier is a huge cause for concern. That pretty much means they're delayed across the board. D:

If I'm reading this right, Episode 1 has been postponed to the following week? It'd be great if someone can confirm this. I hope I'm wrong.

Hmm, it's concerning that the series is having production trouble that's this bad, and the first episode isn't even out yet...

Also not looking forward to the fact that it might be a Daisuki exclusive. Their player sucks compared to CR or Funi's.

UBW Production issues seem to be catching up to them. I don't think it'll be a huge impact quality-wise, but like Nightengale said, they're behind schedule.

This kind of depresses me. I was really excited for the weekend. -_- Hope someone at least uploads the God Eater Extra special then.

Yes, that is what it says. A special program called "God Eater Extra" is going to air instead and the first episode of God Eater will air the week after that.

As long as they're just 1-2 weeks behind schedule, that's fine.

I'm more concerned for if future episodes that hasn't been made yet are impacted in stuff like storyboards, direction, etc simply because they need to rush production across the board.

It's ufo. At their peak, they're one of the best studios out there for action, and if they have to compromise that to deliver on-schedule, they might as well delay the whole thing.

Mmm.. I would prefer for them to release it in Fall if there is gonna be compromises in the quality of the show. Is not a big deal for the later payoff of a good show. Don't drop it after the awesome work with UBW.

It's not that they're a couple weeks behind schedule. It's the fear of a snowball effect. It's a given that projects tend to pick up problems and fall behind schedule as time progresses. So if the show hasn't started yet, and it's already behind by this much, what might happen later on?

But alas! I am but fearmongering. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and wait to see how ufotable does on this.

Unlike the other delay, this looks like it is only one channel that will air it that late.
It doesn't look like there are anymore delay yet on the other channels other than the first.
