Regarding Kanata's newer ability, is he the only one with that kind of ability and is there an organization behind those bugs?

I don't really think so. Eden is a lot more complex, it would require a really good team to adapt that well.

The adaptation of the first novel would be epic and would work best as a 3-4 episode OVA or possibly even a movie. The story may be more complex, but the anime can cover the highlights of the novel while having what I think is the perfect stopping point for a 1-cour season in the Volume 03 Epilogue. While it would take a good team to fully flesh it out, they would have a hard time derailing an Eden adaptation given the strength of the material.

And with the way Kuusen is going, I would not be surprised if we find out they are in fact trapped in a virtual cyberworld being used as energy packs for their armored demon beetle overlords. So I suppose that would make Kanata THE ONE?

That megane creep manage to get that ability too.

Too obsessed with Yuri and to prove his point being the strongest. He crashed in after the platoon battle between E601 and B227. Its the fight between Misora and Yuri's team.

Is the ability he got different from kanata's? if its the same, its kind of disappointing how much kanata lost and got that ability only to have some megane stalker get it...

They are friends that Kanata is already used to Chloe going into his room. The relationship of those 2 are the still the same. Like best friends. There would be 2 additional members for Misora's team. Blair and Yuri will join it. if its romance. I'm not sure because I just read it in wiki with google translate Yuri tried to confess to Kanata when she joins in Misora's team but Kanata misunderstood it as her "like" being the same as Chloe. Rico always tease him about it. The glasses guy is also become an enemy because of his jealousy If you read Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden. Its more like that. Kanata become able to use the enemies abilities but it cost him to loose his original abilities. OR rather its been toned down to nothing that he needs a hover craft to fly. He is still the best in skill but his magic is terrible. If he force to fly. His slow which is why he uses hover craft. With the sacrifice of not being able to use magic. He gains an ability from the wounds he receive from the bugs. Maybe because he become over exposed to it. But it comes with a price that it drains him fast.
