I'm SOOO glad that they fixed her nose. It doesn't look weird anymore. Also, that Rin booty. . Thank you Ufotable. Kirei's voice is as impressive as always. Although I knew exactly what he was going to say, I don't feel bored. The episode also gives us more insight into Shirou's character. Really great. 10/10 for this episode. Rejoice!! |

Don't tell me the entire thread is going to be about Rin's butt and Kirei walking in circles.
Anyway, this episode wasn't as good as the first two, but still enjoyable. Of course, for someone already plenty familiar with the source material (and its universe in general), it's natural that an infodump episode like this wouldn't be particularly exciting. Still, they did what they could to keep the scene interesting in terms of visuals, and showing GARcher standing guard on top of the church roof was a pretty cool detail. I liked the music a lot in the first episode, while in the second one I felt there was too little of it, and now in this one I felt there was too much, particularly in church scene where they kept playing a new track right after the previous one concluded, instead of letting an eerie silence settle in every now and then (it would've gone well with that ominous dark blue lighting that they couldn't resist borrowing from Fate/Zero). Not only that, the tracks felt a little uninspired and I wish they wouldn't reuse that remix from F/Z so often. Thankfully though, the music for Berserker's entrance was a lot better, and his appearance certainly got me hyped for the next episode. |

I really enjoy the small similarities to Fate Zero scenes. It makes this show so much better and shows very well that this story does indeed come after fate zero. Not many anime sequels can really pull that off to relate to the past in such a way.
