Not that surprising for me. I predict tomorrow episode will cover up to the same point as how chp 14 ended. Episode 14 length is a little longer so it should be enough to cover both chp 15 and 16. Chp 16 has quite a lot of exposition which is why the ep 14 is longer. The last episode should be reeeaaaally long just to cover the whole captain match which likely taken at least 3 chapters worth of manga. At least I hope it turns out that way.

We are really close to the end of Side A aren't we? Chp 19 or 20 should mark the conclusion for Side A semifinal match. I wonder whether the manga can continue after this.

The end of Achiga's semis is probably got to fold into the main series afterwards, since it's a "side story." or more specifically Achiga's backstory.

Episode 13 is probably going to do the entirety of Yuu's match and maybe half of Ako's match.
Episode 14 will do the other half of Ako's match and Arata's full match.
Episode 15 will undoubtedly be devoted to Monkey vs Space Cthulhu.

We don't know the exact length of some episodes... some say is 1 hour some say is half an hour. Side stories are meant to go like the sub line which will then join the main line... So yes, it will fold in pretty much... (Fix'd words in bold for you.)

Ahhh! Did anyone watch it yet!? There was a livestream with /a/. It felt a bit rushed, but it was expected. The episode ends with Takami harvesting her match.

Well just watched the episode and I was a bit concerned about run time, but it seems like it managed with minimal problems and without cutting anything major. I don't think I noticed any real cuts at all. Arata's match should fit into episode 14 just fine, and maybe get into the very beginning of Shizu's match. Should leave plenty of time to wrap things up in episode 15, looks like this will work.

I think the Sergeant's match as a whole was lacking... which makes me a little disappointed, since that was the most awesome part of Achiga-hen IMO.

To me it looked like it presented the material faithfully as usual, I suppose the transfer from manga to anime just wasn't what you were expecting/hoping for?

I know what you mean, there are certain scenes the anime doesn't quite get right, though strangely, it improves others. For instance, Teru's hurricane fist wasn't so impressive in the anime as it was in the manga, while Toki going triple was kind of underwhelming in the manga but the anime makes it look like the most mind blowing shounen upgrade of the year.

Requiem-x The slacking one Join Date: Apr 2012	Episode 13 status: Success Spoiler for Spoiler: My only complaint is Yuu's badass moment, it looked like she didn't need to dodge Sumire's arrow in the first place Other than that, everything was done very well, and some things were even improved, like Harue sayig she'll revive Kuro's dora magnet, it was said in a way that made it look surprising or a extraordinary measure, instead of the "oh right, we can just do this" feel you got in the manga, which really downplayed Kuro's emotional ordeal at the end of her match. Harvest time was also greatly improved, and what a good choice for a cliffhanger. I noticed the preview didn't show any of FunaQ's crazy faces. That's gonna be quite a surprise for anime only viewers. Also, cheek rub is canon, YES! Next time, Arata triggers all of Harue's flags at once and the bondage doujins begin to flow (Please don't un-sexualixe Himeko's reactios, PLEASE!)
