And given zoro's luck with female opponents lately (Peronoa and the marine chick) + she's a fellow sword-user, it's likely she will like him too

*Shrug* Eh, maybe. In the past I would've been more skeptical at the idea, but after learning that Oda had originally intended for Tom to be a human character, I suppose anything is possible.....



But either way, I think it's almost inevitable that the #1 mer-swordsman will appear in this upcoming storyline, regardless of their species or gender.

Well, definition of mermen in OP world is really part sea creature and human characteristics... It just happens so that Camie was portrayed in a traditional sense of the word 'mermaid'. I think by mermen you mean those traditional images of mermaid, except you know, male. Right? In OP world, mermen is a general term for all those seacreature/human hybrids.

Arlong Hacchi and Jimbei are the race of fishmen. they are different race than Merfolk like kokoro or keimi. Oda has shown what fishwoman looks like on hatchan's little mini arc. for reference Octopako

i was confused at first too as we only have seen male fishmen and female merfolk. minus those two cover pages
