Polygon Pictures Animates Star Wars: Resistance Series:

"Polygon Pictures announced on Wednesday that it is producing the Star Wars:
Resistance animated series. Lucasfilm announced the new "anime-inspired" series on
April 26, but did not reveal at that time who would handle the animation for the series.

The series will follow the adventures of Kazuda Xiono, a newly minted Resistance pilot
tasked to spy on the growing threat of the First Order. The series is set before the
events of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens film and will feature such characters as Poe
Dameron and Captain Phasma (as voiced by Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie,
respectively). The series will premiere on Disney Channel in the United States this fall,
and thereafter, on Disney XD and around the world."

October 7 Premiere:

"Disney began streaming a trailer for Lucasfilm's Star Wars: Resistance animated
series. The trailer reveals the series' premiere date of October 7 at 10:00 p.m. It also
introduces the lead character, the young Resistance pilot Kazuda Xiono (played by
DAYS of Our Lives Christopher Sean, an American actor of half-Japanese heritage).

The series will follow the adventures of Kazuda Xiono, a newly minted Resistance pilot
tasked to spy on the growing threat of the First Order. The series is set before the
events of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens film and will feature such characters as
Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma (as voiced by Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie,

The New Star Wars Resistance Trailer Is Jam-Packed
With Incredible Spaceship Action:

"Our first look at Star Wars Resistance set up the basic premise of a Resistance spy
operating out of an island that’s home base to a team of hotshot racers. But this new
look at the Lucasfilm animated series gives us a much better idea of the bigger picture
around Kazuda Xiono’s new mission—and the brewing war set to come between the
Resistance and the First Order.

Released today, the extended trailer gives us a bit more insight into the pilots Kaz
(Christopher Sean) will now work alongside in his new mission to keep a check on
whatever the First Order is up to in the shadows of Unknown Space. But it also gives us
a lot more action as conflict between the Resistance and the First Order starts really
ramping up."

It was not as bad as I expected, but bad nevertheless. And it just makes my eyes bleed. What the hell happened to Poe? He looks like an aging alcoholic here.

Also, with a guys like our main character, working as a spies for a New Republic, can anyone be really surprised that First Order has taken over the universe?
