Ahh the pity trip. Stop sterotyping people, I understand not all Medaka fans are like you but a lot of the vocal ones are and to them deal with it, Medaka isn't popular not even in Japan (didn't even make it into the top 3 of her manga) but that doesn't mean all fans hate her guts, They just simply don't like the direction this manga is going where she is the main character. Which is perfectly valid complaint since Nisio has purposefully designed her to be a Mary Sue.

Also some fans of this manga have some ridiculous expectations for this manga which after all this trolling you'd think they'd realise by now that it wasn't going to reach they're expectations.

You would think they would be happy seeing Zen achieve another victory and to top it defeat the most powerful of all enemies not even Medaka AND Ajimu managed to beat. And their complains are because... Medaka woke up for just a few seconds to cheer on Zen!

For me, while I don't like Medaka, it's not even really her that's making me roll my eyes anymore. The writing just keeps getting worse and worse, imo. Everything has either been nonsensical lately or it's just been cheesy. The plot is barely even coherent anymore and has been dropped in favor of constant satire and poking fun at the genre. I just expected better from Nishio, as he can write a plot, as seen in his LNs. The characters in MB have always been pretty one-dimensional with very little character development, as evidenced by how many characters come and are just thrown away, which is why the Zen vs Medaka arc was so nice. It gave some great development to both Zenkichi and Medaka and it is was handled in a well-written manner. I'm not really sure what the point of the past two arcs have been.

The issue is simply that the manga is really, really, boring when focusing on Medaka and now that all the interesting members of the main cast BUT her have been offed... that's pretty terrible, you know?
In all likelihood we're going to get a "Medaka gathers the Dragonballs" arc next and while I would have been fine with other, less-focused-upon characters doing that sort of thing, when it's Medaka... no.
You guys can't tell me that's something to look forward to.

Medaka does the impossible regularly. Who knows what Nisio thinks he can write?

It seems some people have a problem with her doing the thing at the end, rather than an underutilized character doing something cool.

Of course she'll keep the Style going indefinitely. It's Medaka, that's what she does.
Furthermore, she doesn't necessarily have to perform physical feats in order to gather the MacGuffin(s) that will revive everyone, you know?

It doesn't matter now. The fight is over, Iihiko has been defeated, Zenkichi won. All Medaka will do now is die peacefully with a smile like she said to her mother. Because really, all her style allosa her do is to keep her body alive, but it requires a great effort, and with her body decimated she can barely use it to walk one or two steps.

What's gonna happen after this, no one knows, but out of all the cast only Nienami stays alive, and I believe this must mean something.

So basically you're complaining about something that hasn't happened yet and might not even happen at all. How about you wait for Nisio to actually write that before complaining about it?
