The number speak was entertaining. It must have been pretty tough for the seiyuus. I'm surprised they made two versions of that scene.

Looks like the Japanese broadcast version had two audio tracks (I checked that on Raws-4u). I understood that from reading this footnote on wikipedia. Quite interesting thing they've done here just for the one episode.

Kurokami is back!
Forced to take on Unzen's projects...
Class 13 seems really interesting.
Those guys are no joke, that's for sure.
Unzen's sister really is a monster.
Seriously, what happened to this anime.
It sort of turned into Needless.
Introducing new, freakishly strong characters.
I was thinking about dropping this, but it got me interested into those new characters.

Watched the Poster, I thought of Dragon Ball Z.

Watched the subbed, I thought of Horizon then One Piece... This is really abnormal...

That's the actual number sequences. Kinda ridiculous that there's seiyuu who was able to do such smooth, clean numberspeaks (I wonder if her tongue got slipped several times during recording session)

I think you are close to grasping the subversive nature of Medaka Box.

Really, they should have begun with this degree of pacing.

By the way, how many Anime original viewers are there left? I got the impression that the horrific First Season scared most of them away.

Haven't read the manga, still watching the anime. Noticed Gainax upped the budget a bit for this.

Most probably not "surprised", but "shocked" instead by sudden turn of this show from "student council comedy" to "epic huge battle" which left some anime original viewers dumbfounded.

I'm one of those anime-only viewers. I thought it was gonna be a usual school comedy and then the next moment Medeka is going SSJ. I was WTF with this twist! Then I read some of the manga and was like "oh, ok I get it now."

I'm an anime-original viewer, and I was looking forward to season two. (In fact, from the comments I think not having read the manga is an advantage, since I'm not disappointed. )

It's not my favourite show, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Ep1 measured up to the first season (not better, not worse).

What code? If you're referring to those random digits, i've posted it above.

That was a very good episode on its own and utterly fantastic compared to most of the first season, heh.
The faster pace is really helping.

It's actually interesting, is the number language actually able to be translated? For some reason, I wouldn't be surprised if that turned out to be true.
