I could not find a thread dedicated to this game so I thought I would make one.

Unfortunatly there are no higher quality pics out at the moment.

I recently watched through the subbed Mai-Hime for the first time and I never would have guessed it would become one of my favorites. That is why I will without a doubt buy this game when it's out which is January 31, 2006 in Japan.

Looks to be a 3D fighting game for the PSP not unlike the Bleach titles if you have played them as well.

Characters included based on what we know are:

Mai
Midori
Natsuki
Miyu
Akane
Nao
Akira

and possibly Mikoto as well seeing as she is on the cover. But this is only what I have gathered from screenshots and even though we are close to release I do not doubt that more characters will make an appearence.

There was a thread but it got lost after the forum hack. I saw a magazine scan and it added Akane and Nao as playable characters (by the way, why did you list Mai by her last name?). IIRC Miyu and Akira are unlockable characters. I think there's another game due out later in the year that features the remaining characters.

Sorry about the Mai thing there, it slipped my mind which was her first name, fixed.

Though I wonder if they will model everyones child in 3D considering compared to the characters they are much more detailed. It would be nice though and more than likley contribute to more of an impact when you see them asuming that the characters all use specials like the bleach game characters do or something like that.

And I'll enter the characters you mentioned into the list.

I haven't played the Bleach games so I'm not sure how this one might compare but I'll be ordering this one soon since it comes out the same time as another game I've been waiting for.

for now, *knock on wood* the game is suppose to be released (finally) on Feb 23rd. It's anyone's guess if the game wil be pushed back AGAIN though

Goodo, in that case, cos I'll actually be in time to fly back to Taiwan to get a copy personally for $50 Aussie as opposed to pay and extortionistic $90 Aussie (NOT including postage and handling, mind you) if I order it from specialist stores.

k , now its psp knowledge

, as for short, psp games are region code free, so any psp will work on it....the version for this game should be v2.6 , so anyone who doesnt wan to update the latest version for their psp are not "allowed" to play this game ^^
only umb disk are region code locked to the specific country, which doesnt applied to u, if u don buy them
anyway mine is region 2 ^^(jap set) XD

As we can see for Mai, Natsuki and Fumi for the moment with their images...
We see a HIME Furie Jauge... Maybe if the Jauge Full Up, We can summon the Child. Otherwise the System is in the Official Site of the Game. Can someone can translate them?

Nice update, looks like they've used the delay to add some more characters. Now that just leaves Yukino and Yukariko. I hope they're in there and we just haven't been told yet.

Given that the artwork shows Duran, Gakutenou and Child Mashiro, I'm guessing they're used as ultimate attacks.

there is "gallery" mode where you can download clips from the game... (and they surely bring back old memories)... there's name mistake though (I don't know whether it's intentional or not) such as mei, aoi, etc...

it wasnt out yet.... the one am talking about was part 1 ,"mai hime bakuretsu fuka gakuen getou shi?"

the drama game ended at the first half of the game which is mai defeated alyssa.
