So Nate's poll now has Obama up to a 92% chance of winning and shows Florida tipped slightly blue now (52%). I am confused and unsure of what's about to happen tomorrow. What a fluctuation over the last month.

There are so many "reality distortion bubbles" overlapping, its nearly impossible to do any useful data analysis. Such is the success of the Disinformation squads :P

Now the most important question...

Should I try to get to the polls when they first open, or try to see if I can get in later in the day when it may be less busy?

Not at lunch, not after 4ish. Basically avoiding all the 9-to-5 corporate slave workers desperately trying to vote ...

as someone who volunteer to work at the polls a few times. Early mornings are the best. The worst is 5-7 and right before the poll close.

"Who do those voters think they are?! Those undecideds have tangled with the wrong man!"
"Darn right!"
"NOBODY says no to Mitt Rom! Dismissed! Rejected! Publicly humiliated! Why, it's more than I can bear."
"More tax cuts?"
"What for? Nothing helps. I'm disgraced."
"Who you? Mitt Rom, you've got to pull yourself together!"

Gosh it disturbs me to see you, Mitt Rom
Looking so down in the polls
Ev'ry Repub lov'd to BE you, Mitt Rom
Especially with your tax loopholes

There's no candidate as admired as you
You're ev'ryone's favorite guy
All rich tax cuts are applied by you
And it's not very hard to see whyyyyyy

No one's slick as Mitt Rom
No one's quick as Mitt Rom
No one's brain's as incredibly thick as Mitt Rom's
For there's no tax plan half as thrifty
Perfect, a pure paragon!
You can ask any Ron, Paul, or Christie
And they'll tell you whose team they prefer to be on!

Nooooo oooooone...spins like Mitt Rom
Chesire grins like Mitt Rom
No one's got a small switch in his back like Mitt Rom!

On abortion I supported- *click* HARRRRNGGG (***CARRIER LOST***) (Rebooting......OK) OPPOSED its legislation!

My what a guy, that Mitt Rom!

When I was a lad I made four dozen trades
Every morning to help the offshores get large
And now that I'm grown I make five thousand trades
So I can buy a Cayman Island baaaaaaaarge!

Nooooo...oooooone shoots foots like Mitt Rom
Computes like Mitt Rom
No one takes 47 percent and boots them around like Mitt Rom!

I use poor people in all of my decorating!

My what a guy,

Mitt Rommmmmmmm

UNPRECEDENTED!!!
People Walk Out on Obama at Virginia Rally

... and not only that

This soon-to-be former president's multi-state state tour ends campaign with a wimper... in half-empty arena, even with Springsteen and Jay-Z opening!!!

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/art...6074-full.html

There were empty seats scattered around the upper-level of Nationwide Arena... Four years ago, after all, Obama was easily filling venues larger than that...

tsk tsk tsk
See?! I told you all like months ago that voter enthusiasm is NOT in favor for the soon-to-be former president and his likely supporters.

Remember this?
This was then...

This is NOW!

Taken from the article that Flying posted:

Quote:
But that’s what happened yesterday to Barack Obama in Virginia. Famous liar, womanizer, and accused rapist Bill Clinton kept the audience in their seats, but as Obama was speaking, many people had had enough; they got up and left so they could beat the parking lot traffic.
So yeah, we know the site reporting it is real shit.

...Wait, what? Bill is an accused rapist? Since when? He was only accused of sleeping with that woman and lying about it.

I may be wrong, but it seems to me that rarely there was a race in which both sides were as certain of their impending victory as today.

This is going to make for an interesting wednesday

You best prepare yourself (for disappointment) and better ingrain the pics from Ohio above... cause that's how it will look like in soon-to-be former president's election HQ After The Thrill is Gone!

Mostly the reason for this high chance of winning is the consistent 3% points edge the president has had in the swing states. Although the one I really wanna know more of are the House races. Although it seems to be a repeat of the 112th Congress sadly.

As for flying...yeah...it's not a game. It affects so many people but treating it like a popularity contest really demeans the process IMHO. >>

Let's just assume for a second that Nate Silver's model once more turns out to be correct. I wonder what you will say tomorrow?

Seen from the outside, it's crystal clear to me that the Republicans have immunized themselves in a parallel reality bubble, perpetuated by Foxnews, Radio Shock Jocks and blogs. The last time they got in touch with reality was when the Iraq war wasn't won after all and the economy unraveled. I'm almost looking forward to what's going to happen when reality once more turns out to be different to what their handlers said it was.

I bet it's the 47%'s fault, then.

Action? What do you mean?

And just for fairness: I recognize that your side has a real shot for victory. Heck, Americans reelected Dubyah, so it certainly CAN happen. So, I can be wrong, too.

I'm going to watch Intrade very curiously tomorrow. At the moment, we're at 68% Obama 32% Romney.
