BTW - did you know "Tari Tari" is Japanese for "We're not even trying anymore?"
Funny, I could have shown that "Oda Nobura no Yabou" was Japanese for "We're not even going to pretend that you haven't seen this premise 1,000 times already"

Somehow though I suspect "Tari Tari" really means "We're going to do K-ON, but with two guys and three girls and more plot and hope the otaku buy in while we work on that Hanaseku Iroha movie" Somehow, I still am looking forward to being able to see it more than almost any other series this Summer.

Same here, but aside from Sword Art Online (Which I think's been confirmed for two cours) I seriously doubt any other series will last more than one season... maybe Tari Tari, since it seems to be the spiritual successor to Hanasaku Iroha. There could always be some surprises in the cards, though; almost nobody expected Gosick back in Winter 2011 to span two seasons.

This season looks terrible, to be honest. I initially expected From the New World, one of the anime I'm anticipating the most, to be announced for this season, but at this rate it's highly unlikely to come out before the autumn season.

Will Almost Certainly Watch

Yuru Yuri S2
Lighthearted, episodic series about cute girls are what I seem to enjoy the most when watching currently airing anime. The first season wasn't anything remarkable, but it filled its entertainment quota, and I expect more of the same from this.

Probably Will Watch

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse
Mostly depends on how fast I finish reading Muv-Luv Alternative.

Kokoro Connect
I like the premise, as it has a lot of potential for comedy. Also, that super cute K-On art style could be a plus.

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita
No idea how this will turn out, but I love the look of it and it could turn out to be a great fantasy.

Backlog
I probably won't watch these while they are running, and I'll marathon them when they are done unless someone really convinces me to pick them up.

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate
It looks so darn pretty. But will this be yet another VN adaptation ruined by bad time management and route ordering? I'll see.

Rinne no Lagrange S2
I still haven't finished the first season yet.

Tari Tari
Meh. Why not?

Sword Art Online
Why is everyone wetting their panties over this? I should find out.

Joshiraku
Kumeta Kouji. That is all.

Code Geass Gaiden: Boukoku no Akito
It's Code Geass. It's going to be crazy, sensational, and fun.

Won't Watch At All
Unless of course, other people's opinions and views make me reconsider.

Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai
The title alone is a huge warning alarm. The premise is uninteresting. A guy struggling to regain his libido? How about no. Also, the guy's degenerately stupid face on the promotional image majorly ticks me off.

Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru
Another brain-meltingly horrible title. Is their really an appeal in an sibling incest story when we even don't know who the freaking sibling is? Also, why not transfer to a different school?

Oda Nobuna no Yabou
I'm sick and nearly fed up with the same exact concept of moefied Sengoku period warlords being regurgitated and eaten up again and again by Japan. Now it's entirely possible for this anime to actually impress me by being good, but the stale idea it is built upon is a massive turnoff.

Pokemon: Best Wishes S2
Just die already, you piece of festering trash. Nobody likes you. Nobody wants you. You're a cancer and shame to the Pokemon franchise, and you've always been that way since the first season.

Ebiten
A whole premise based on a pun. Wow, it's freaking nothing. Also, I generally dislike this art style.

I personally like this year's summer lineup a lot. I'm looking forward to:

Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru!
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate
Sword Art Online
Horizon S2
Campione!

Not so sure about these 3, but they seem interesting, will probably check them out as well:

Hagure Yuusha no Estetica
Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita
Oda Nobuna no Yabou

Hmm.... I don't really see much that has my interest aside from Sword Art Online so far. I'll probably just watch a few episodes at random and continue from there with regards to most series of this season.

I hope SAO turns out to be good. The light novel is just EPIC.
Otherwise, I think this Summer line-up is good. Since I'll be doing nothing over the summer (LOL), I'm gonna probably try out every new series for at least 1 ep.

Now that the list is pretty much finalized...

Way on the top of my list
Yuruyuri S2 - \アッカリーン/
SAO - I enjoy Accel World so far, and as far as I know, SAO is 10x better than AW...

Will watch:
Nakaimo - NEED...MOAR...IMOUTO (Speaking of that, I'll have to start on this novel...)
Tari Tari - Just look promising.
Kokoro Connect - As much as many people only heard of this because it has the same art style as K-On (Of course, since it's drawn by the same person )
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate - Although I've only heard about it (mainly b/c I read too much Dengeki G's...)

May watch:
Campione - Never a fan of the genre, though.

Will be super delayed:
Dog Days S2 - Haven't even finish Season 1...
Horizon S2 - See Dog Days.

Continuing: Accel World, Hyouka, Saki Achiga-hen Extra episodes

im expecting to watch:
binbogamiga!
sword art online
total eclipse
kokoro connect
yuriyuri
storia de la arcana familia

theres also nobunaga yabo, wich the only thing that appeals to me is the character design, aruvu rezuru, tough i dont know anything about that, and jinrui wa suitai since the pvs looks like comedy and the director is excellent at that.

Let's see...definitely disappointing in comparison to Spring.

Only two really stand out for me: Horizon 2 and Sword Art Online.

There are quite a few possible ones, mind. Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate, Kokoro Connect, Aruvu Rezuru and Tari Tari (ignoring the fact that it could probably be called Hanasaku Iroha 2 and no-one could possibly tell the difference ) for example.

The rest...meh. Campione! deserves special mention to me - purely from that one picture, it looks so generic (and appears to be trying it's best to be Shakugan no Shana with what I can best describe as a graphical downgrade).

The description for Yuruyuri S2 on the chart is really weak; would hate to see anyone who likes comedy/slice-of-life missing out on this because of that.

Other than that, I'm interested in seeing how Sword Art Online and Natsuyuki Rendezvous play out. There's a couple others I might hit up along the way, but some already just sound so bad...

Hmm. Not exactly a blockbuster summer preview.

Series I'm definitely picking up:

Sword Art Online - I like Accel World, and I've heard good things about this
Horizon 2 - Yup.
Rinne no Lagrange 2 - That cliffhanger.....
Aruvu Rezuru - You had me at cyber science fiction
Campione! - You had me at godslayer

Series that I'm hoping aren't just "Girl who is strong and independent but suddenly turns into a horny teen fawning over Justin Beiber when the males show up":

La storia della Arcana Famiglia - Premise seems interesting
Hagure Yuusha no Estetica - Ditto

Series that I'll watch because I'm easily amused:

Dakara Boku Wa - Meh, I liked DxD
Binbou-gami ka! - The premise seems ripe for hijinks. Could be the next Haiyore. And I'm not just saying that because of the Nyarko lookalike.

Potential dark horse:

Jinrui - Could be moe-loli bait, but the premise is unusual

OVA:

Outside of the usual extra episode stuff, I must admit Khronos Gear caught my eye.

Movies:

I'll watch most of them, but I'm definitely hoping for good things from Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki

Overall, plenty of stuff to check out. Could be worse.

Ah, you are correct. The chart had it listed in the wrong spot. That's a bummer, I've been jonesing for a more serious/realistic themed sci-fi series.

Not exactly an exciting season. Maybe there will be some surprise hits.
