The way the memories returned to him as if they were physical impacts on his body seemed more than usual memory recall. It seemed to me as if the murderer was happy his plan had been successfully put in place back then.

This is pure speculation on my part, of course. On top of what I said, I like Arthur more than you do, so I'm easier on him.

There is something about this episode that seemed really lacking to me and that may be due to the fact that I felt hardly any tension at all throughout the entire episode. Sure you have a mass of mindless zombies coming to eat your brains, but the way they were fighting against said zombies, it felt long winded, uninspiring and...dare I say it...boring...

The tension was definitely something I did not feel when watching this.

But the ending section with Arawn using holy magic was significant enough to call it a progressive episode. The question still stands why Arthur had seen a while Arawn kill his father in front of him when Arawn had only just revived recently. Even more so since Arawn seems to accept the fact that he had committed such a sin and therefore allowed Arthur to stab him in protecting Riannon. The two facts contradict each other vastly and it needs clearing up later.

Still the trance that Arthur underwent is also noteworthy but it doesn't excuse him for being an idiot :roleyes:

So is this anime going to be licensed soon or what? It's been so good and the story has been so enjoyable that I really think it's only a matter of time until it gets licensed and released in the U.S with a sub/dub set. That would be so damn, sweet!

AFAIK, he does plenty of those things in the game, especially in the most surreal intermissions (there are plenty of them in the game).

From the context of the dialogue between these two, that (Kobanzame) definitely makes more sense. Arwan was merciless in the episode, but it also shows that he has become quite comfortable with Riannon's company.

This is the first episode that I liked Arthur for once because he almost stabbed that annoying sister of his, too bad Arawn just had to step in(kinda expected it though)

Nothing I suppose. He didn't look to be by himself when he this abrupt urge to avenge their father came to him even at the cost of his sister's life by his hand. I just wish that the animators gave a bit more thoughts on who should have been Arthur's seiyuu. It annoys the heck out of me every time when he starts yelling.

I agree with Monir. I doubt Arthur will be in any sort of real trouble when he returns to the tribe. Arawn has already forgiven him. Plus it was obvious that Arthur wasn't in his right mind at the time. (I still hold to the theory that he was under an outside influence.) No, I think the person who will be hardest on Arthur will be Arthur himself. We might have to suffer through some of his emotional self-flagellation for a while. However, I wouldn't put it past Arawn to make an occasional dig or two at Arthur once he recovers his sense of snarky humor.

Yeah I have no doubt we'll be in for some self-hate for a while. Though he will need to get it together fast since the tribe really can't afford to lose both Arawn and Arthur at the same time. Hopefully on the positive this whole thing will help to further develop and strengthen his character.

At any rate this is a pretty bad time to take a full assault. They've temporarily lost two of their leaders and morale has to be extremely low.

Well to be fair some VAs got better in the anime since they actually had to lip sync (or at least try to), Lidia in the game forced her voice much more, and so did Morgan.

Not really. Right now he's either been manipulated (ie. he's a weakling) or he's a nut job/psychopath (Riannon, but in the end Arawn and the tribesmen too, are his family). Take your pick =P
