Ugh, she reminds me of Haruka (IM@S); and that's not a good thing because I hate Haruka.
Actually Sachi looks like Chiyaha + Haruka mix.

That she does. I blame A-1. Ah well, both Chiyaha and Sacchi are cuties so it’s all good.

Yep, that's the one.

Now that we've got the identity of Hot Chick down, I've another question: TVTropes says that Sword Art Online features quite a few time skips in the story, which sounds awesome because I love timeskips. I'm pretty sure that the entire story so far has taken place during the 2020s... what year does the story begin, and how many years have passed since the start?

Yea, the author has to do time skips, because:
Spoiler for Minor spoiler, but still...:

Though, also looking forward to seeing the winning original characters/weapons of the (ongoing) "SAO avatar & sword art" design contest in the anime :3
Already drew mine (+ a few weapons) and posted them.

Slightly odd perspective on that foot, imo... But I'll take it.

You guys into a foot fetish or something?

Well, after previous seasons, this upcoming season seem a little 'flat'.

I'm more of a legs person myself, but feet can be nice too; and liking feet doesn't necessarily mean that one has a foot fetish.

And I'm trying to explain to my colleagues what's with the readers' supposed foot fetish when I was surfing here at work. (It's a corporate company, so yeah, it's kinda embarrassing. Yeah, that included your sigs, Aphrah and Tsunade...)

*Ahem* I'm not so sure of what to expect from the fans this time when the LNs are going to be fully translated before the anime even begins (a first even for Baka Tsuki).

Ah, ehehe. Sorry about that. :<

Well, there should be no complaints, as the L/Ns will be fully translated. But really, I don't know; only time will tell, I suppose.

Yeah, and one of my Japanese superiors (in his 50s) is like, 何か? It's a part-Japanese company, actually, so yeah...

Personal experience from the Index II season (Tsunade can vouch for that) is that a lot of people were grumbling about how the adaptation was so different from the novel at times (to be fair, it was a relatively good adaptation, just that the medium's unable to contain a lot of the terminology explanations that could have explained the story better. It's the same case with SAO here with all the game terms, so I'm kinda sweating over this.)

Blah. Fans will always find something to complain about. It'd be best to view the L/N series and the anime adaptation as two different forms of entertainment. But it's as you said, it goes without say that anime, as a visual medium, is usually unable to contain as much of the explanations the L/Ns have.
