On another note, all of these DmC threads on gamefaqs are freaking addictive! I can't stop refreshing the page even though I need to sleep... @_@
...This must be what taking drugs feel like... Kills you slowly... EDIT: Ending leaked -> Anti on the rise Good Reviews -> Pro strikes back (In about a week's time or less) Weak Sales -> Anti counter attacks

The gamefaqs forums always show me new things to entertain me lol.
Some people are saying the game is decent. From what I played with my friend yesterday, full game mind you, that's a good statement of how I feel about it. The combat felt the same is it did in the demo. Nothing new there aside from new weapons. I can say that the Aquila has a round trip like move that wrecks some enemies. The platforming isn't really a big plus or minus to me. Just like platforming in most games, it's just there. The story takes itself too seriously. Dante is supposed to be relatable but he comes off as jerk. The story is very predictable. Kat felt like a plot device more than a character. She's supposed to bring Dante's better half out but she falls flat. I liked Vergil. Found his VA's performance to be solid and one of the more likeable characters. Mundus had some of the worst lines in the script but his VA was having fun with it, that I liked. But yeah so far it just felt like a decent hack n slash. Nothing really setting my world on fire, but not the worst game ever. Combat is the biggest factor to me. It felt watered down and not as deep. Not up to the standard and depth set by DMC 3 (My fav game in the series)

First time to see "reviewers" say the same thing as the ones who made this.
Either way saw all the walkthroughs it's not as fast as older titles of DMC namely DMC3 and 4. Like I said since 2011 when the gameplay trailer came out a decent game not par with the gameplay of the original DMC titles and there is nothing new or innovative and will have a predictable storyline. Here's the History of Original DMC to the Reboot DmC Here's the lore of the original franchise before the reboot

So in short, I've no doubt DmC's gameplay does a good job of looking and feeling nice and pretty on the surface--which is all I bet it really needs to do to rake in solid sales. I hope my brief opinion didn't offend anyone that was impressed by this game too badly. |

It's kinda in that realm of decent. Average but not noteworthy. If I had to agree with any professional reviewer I would have to go with the Sess. Adam was in-depth and gave a good review. Only thing I disagree with him about is the combat for reasons I've stated before.
It's not sh*t but it's not what it's hyped up to be. Shame that a lot of the fanbase is now split.

Since Rueben Langdon and Daniel worked for Capcom, they won't say anything bad to this game. Also Rueben already said it's a good game and people should try it in the 2012 E3.
Now if only I could only find the pic of Rueben playing DmC giving the thumbs up yet he's frowning lol
