Switch and Himiko were excellent, Bossun on the other hand ... honestly, I can take or leave. I mean Yoshino is a very good VA (in fact he's one of my favorites) but I just can't imagine his voice as Bossun. He does act as him perfectly, mind you, it's just the voice doesn't match imo.

I'm really looking forward to some scenes that I can't quite imagine how they could animate it. Most of them involve Roman, as I think people may have guessed.

It's for the best that Shaft isn't doing it. I mean it would have been nice but Shaft seems to have their fair share of work right now.

Not necessarily fresh news, but I thought I'd bump the thread anyway:

The official website is now in its final form, and you get to hear Bossun, Himeko and Switch randomly speaking to you depending on where you point your cursor. An original and pleasant idea, if you ask me. Do go & click on the Characters (キャラクター) section.

There's also a trailer there, that you can find by clicking on MOVIE or モビエ

. Kawaguchi Keiichirou certainly seems perfect for the role, doesn't he? Looks like tons of fun.

Absolutely! That being said I'm still somewhat surprised they actually managed to get them (even if the mangaka is an apparent huge fan of The Pillows and had been using their music in his manga lol

I almost passed this series over, looks pretty good though, and Sugita's involved, I'm going to guess just from watching the preview there's going to be at least one Digimon joke, based on the main guy's appearance. Pillows are good, I look forward to hearing that song, if that's true.

Started reading the manga today, and i'll go ahead and say it's a shame i've waited this long. If we get a faithful adaptation, then this is going to be fantastic.

After reading the first chapter of the manga, I immediately became interested in checking out the anime adaption due to how it was apparently funny as heck. All the characters are hilarious, but Switch became my personal fav next to Bossun.
