Not a bad start, since I'm not one to methodically tick off things left n' right. I just sit and watch and If it keeps my attention then it's on the watch list for now...
I could see that ending part coming a mile away, but it was still funny... |

Art and animation somehow reminds me of Toradora. But the lack of background music, in my personal opinion makes it a little dull. However it seems to have good potential in it so it will be followed for the time being!

Guys, wait a second, what Onegai Teacher homage... it is flat out the same concept, designs, and characters

You're not, I also did not get what was supposed to be dramatic, on the other hand there is always the case that was badly executed that I misunderstood their intentions. |

Holy fuck, they actually went there. I thought all those "she's an alien" hints was just an elaborate red herring but they actually fucking went there...
Anyway, I'll be one of the ones that says this actually looks good. They need to careful with the sci-fi elements but they can still make it into a sweet love story. Also, I've never seen Onegai Teacher...

I wasn't really a big fan of Onegai Teacher, and I never watched Onegai Twins, but the one thing I liked about the former was the way it managed to balance the everyday romantic and almost SoL-ish element with it's sci-fi aspect, admittedly something I don't find to be very well done in most shows. The reason I didn't like Onegai Teacher as much as I would have was because I just found the romance aspect to be generic and somewhat cliche, but again the everyday-ish sci-fi alien aspect was an intriguing twist to what I think would have been a standard romance fare.
To be fair I think this episode does the balance just as well, and I'm going in here hoping that it'll give me what I couldn't find in it's spiritual predecessor. Edit - Whoah I just realized that me and the lead has the same type of hairstyle and glasses I had in high school.

What sold me on Onegai Teacher was exactly the protagonist because I was going through a similar situation in life as he was. I think there's just a lot to love about this particular blend of SoL+Sci-fi formula, so unlike others I'm actually glad it's somewhat similar to Onegai Teacher.

Welp, I didn't expect this show to have aliens. At all. I thought it was going to be an ordinary romance comedy. My fault for going into this blind, I guess. I didn't even know the chara designer for AnoHana was involved so I was flabbergasted when Jintan 2.0 appeared.
The premise is old and tired but it gets a bonus point for not making the alien girl an airhead. She's actually pretty down to earth despite not being from Earth. Overall not bad but not great either. Waiting to see which direction the story will take.

Anyways, I haven't watched it yet, so nothing more to say right now. I give it a try, as I always do (even to Aquarion Evol )
