(L) Hikaru no Go

Having prob getting HnG 51+ from Real-Fansubbers. Using both ABC 2.6.5 and Bittorrent 3.4.2. Getting error message "bad info from tracker". Others seem to be torrenting these batch files. What client should I use? Or can someone streamload it to me? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hikaru No Go is the far best anime i've ever watched and yes even though the end dissapointed me. however i've heard that they're gonna make a second season of it and that they've already started to show abit in some asian countries. if it's true or not i dunno,but i hope it is

I very much doubt it's true, and I wouldn't want the anime to continue if it didn't have a kickass manga to follow. I'll settle for the specials of the Hokuto cup which are bound to come.

I think the ending of the anime is perfectly fine though, and Hikaru no Go is my absolute favourite anime.

There is no more anime after the 2004 New Years Special. That's all there is for now.

There is one fundamental problem why the manga and thus the anime had to stop was the fact that the author ran into a deathend.

Spoiler:

Hikaro and Akira are both top class japanese pros at the end (skill, not dan-level). Akira of course, and hikaru, too (he nearly won the game against his sensei, wins against 5 or 6 dans).
And the whole story is about those 2 aproaching the hand of god, suggesting that they dont get a midlife-crises at 18 and give up go

So two more years of their current growth, and they would play in all tournment legues. Akira would have already at least one title, maybe hikaru too if he is lucky/has a opponend he's good against in the finale.

They would blast away all other Pros in japan, and then the real problem begins: Korea and China. A sad fact is that japanese go players SUCK. compared to korea. in real life.

And the author of the story had lots of support from asian go pros in the creation of the manga. If he had those two japanese pros kick koreas asses, his connections in korea wouldnt like it. If he tries to show the difference in skill, it would negate all the matches against the japanese pros.

The best solution would have been to end the manga like the last episode of the anime. A long 30-40 page chapter with teasers of the future of the characters, after the hikaru/akira match.

ive only just started to watch this anime. ive seen up to episode 20. i have a long way to go yet. its a bit sad that they stopped at 75. ahh well can't be helped i suppose.

however, watching this anime, makes me want to go learn to play "go"

If 4kids got HnG, I think they'd recast Sai as a woman. Conservative so-and-so's.

that`s how a lot of people felt i wish it would be shown on western tv to get outryouth to play this game. Im sure it would be a bigger success and a damn lot more interesting than pokemon style card games.

I think HnG may be having some kind of influence here, or i could just be crazy. I've seen more references to Go in american tv shows now, the latest being 24.... =p

Yay! Just a week ago I was looking to dl some eps of this series and all the torrents were broken or something. I'm really happy that they are back in effect! I've been reading some of the manga of this and it's really neat, can't wait to see the anime!

I found that most of the problems d/ling HnG are caused by my firewall. BTW would it be possible for someone to reseed HnG eps. 41-45? Please!!!
