I, for one, wouldn't put a penny's worth of trust into this poll. The mere fact that Tari Tari does not appear anywhere in the list makes it a bogus list as far as I'm concerned, particularly considering what else has made it into the list (there really is some painfully awful stuff there). Really, out of 8,665 votes cast, you're telling me there weren't at least 12 votes for Tari Tari (to beat out Ozma in the list).

Yes, I'm sure the fact that it's a "Spring Anime" poll and Tari Tari is a Summer anime has nothing whatsoever to do with it.

Well, I'm sure glad we're in agreement on this!

I hope you don't hurt your eyes too much, straining them like that. We wouldn't want you to go blind, now would we? Then you couldn't make any more facetious remarks on these forums (unless, of course, you used some of that slick software out there for the visually handi-capped).

Shit, episode 17 was godly. The way Ginga e Kickoff does character drama is just great. That was nearly on the same level as episode 14. Honestly, this show often throws out stuff so much better than a lot of the other anime airing these days that it just blows me away. I almost have to laugh when I think about how many other viewers are missing this.

And of course, episode 18 was blood-pumping as well. I am hyped as hell for the matches coming up. Somehow, for a soccer anime, these latest episodes managed to jam in a lot more content than I would generally expect out of a mere 24 minutes.

The delta between how great this show is and how little attention it gets in the English-speaking fandom is really huge. Episode 17 was really fantastic. Best anime about kids and sports since S1 of Major.

Well, Kuroko is certainly drawing a lot more attention (more so in Japan, of course) and it's nowhere near the show Ginga is. Of course fujoshi are a huge part of its demo (as it is for most sports shounen, including this one) both East and West.

18: How timely that Shou was finally rewarded for doing all the grunt work on and off the field to make the Predators a success. And totally fitting that it was Ouzou who took it on himself to make it happen - he's the sharpest and most mature of the Furuyas easily.

I've really liked this series. I agree with some comments that this one is far better than "Area no Kishi", and also think that is really weird that is not being subbed as fast as other series that are not as good as this one. Anyway, I even watch the raw of the chapters before they are released with subs because I like it that much.
And I think is time they really show Shou's skills.

Thank you.

Shou needs to put himself together because Aoto is coming to steal his waifu.

Yeah noticed that. Subs we good for me atleast. Good shows need regular translations so its nice that someone steps up.

I was hooked after the first episode. It's a shame that this is not more popular in the english community.

Misaki Shimizu is Modeled after Nadeshiko Japan player Homare Sawa

Sawa's goal off the corner in the 118th minute of the World Cup final remains the greatest play in football IMO, considering the circumstances.

That match was epic and a definitive moment that made me fall in love with the women's football

It’s a measure of how invested I’ve become in the characters here that when they show signs of real growth, I sometimes feel as proud of them as if they were my own kids (not that I know what that feels like, of course, but I can imagine).

I'm amused it took 25 episodes to get the team as shown in the opening.

Kiritsugu Masaru getting serious, when he got outplayed by Aoto and his lightning kick, were the highlights for me, and every time Erika got some screen time .
