It's mostly slice-of-life, but the actual meat of the series is more of a drama.

Irrespective of that Kyousuke's pretty boy face, I will not bury all the rest of the work by just face in particular. Same thing happened before with the very first scan and Rin's face and then next ones calmed down people. I guess Iizuka style just tends to deform faces... I see it a lot in Okami-san, and also (though lesser extent) in InuxBoku. It doesn't surprise me.
The positive thing is that her style looks really good in motion. So, I won't issue any criticism until see a new PV.

Other good thing is, the amount of new information we've been receiving each time is gradually increasing. We're almost there, today officially one month left.

I think the girls still look great. The guys now.... I think Kengo looks fine, but Masato isn't muscular enough and I feel like there is something off with Kyousuke's and Riki's faces.

If we compare the design from game between Clannad and Little Busters!, I believe the design is quite a lot improved.

I think female character design for anime for me is good, even Kud-chan. But male's looks quite bad in the recent one.
