Ffdshow alpha latest
Maybe you could update the recommended ffdshow alpha in your media configuration guide to
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/vi...rs/ffdshow.cfm Some ppl have been getting playing problems with the latest Xvid 1.0 builds with older ffdshows. This one works pretty well on everything I've seen. |

Edit: It seems there is an XviD 1.0 bug in libavcodec (from the ffmpeg project) which is ued in mplayer and ffdshow. The version you suggested still has that bug, so I believe there is no XviD 1.0 bug-free version of ffdshow. Regardless, I myself have not seen any XviD 1.0 content that is unplayable by ffdshow 23052003. |
