2142 was the only BF game I was ever interested in. Pisses me off that EA refuses to give it Vista X64 support.

No word on what kind of sequel will be. It could be a continuation to BF:3, considering the stuff...

Spoiler for Stuff:

In case you want to see what's chapter 1 like.

By the way, it does have an error in terms of portraying Russian LE.

That sounds awfully similar to what my friend told me when he linked me that picture, but im sure he said US soldier and Iraq. 4 man team, two choppers, two dudes hanging off each chopper. Had to find a guy that got stranded, and the two choppers provided air support while they were looking for the guy (who was KIA as well). That must have been where they got the idea for the rescue.

Guys dangling off choppers is like standard insertion practice seeing how frequently it's done worldwide...

Tethered to a FAST insertion rope or sitting on bunks affixed to the outer skin of the fuselage, perhaps. I'd understand if the helicopter in question was a MH6 Little Bird, a MH60 or a Gazelle, but using an AH64 for this kind of job is...highly unorthodox.

Doable, but unorthodox.

The men are literally sitting in front of the engine air intakes and right under the main rotor blades, a precarious position (the bulging "cheeks" on either side of the front part of the fuselage are quite narrow at their aft end, meaning it's not exactly the most comfortable area to sit on) that puts them quite at risk, even compared to the MH6. To such a point that, during that aforementioned operation in Afghanistan, the WAH64 used for the trips were forced to keep their speed below 50mph in order to keep the rotor downwash bearable for the "piggyback"-riders.

Now, mind you, the Russian Mil Mi-28 Havoc (the Russian equivalent of the AH64) does have a special compartment built into its fuselage, where the crew could place a wounded soldier, in case they have to do an impromptu MEDEVAC.

After I watched some YouTube videos that linked by some users on previous posts / pages on this thread, I feel this game is pretty amazing.

Can't decide which game should I get between BF3, Bad Company 2 and CoD:MW3, after I get a PS3. (BF2:MC is the only Battlefield series I played before, while I never play any CoD game before)

Lemme warn you that Bad Company 2 lost like most of its community on ps3 lol. There are still some that play it, but some matches are just lopsided to the point of frustration.

The update will be made on Nov. 22nd 7:00 AM UTC / Nov. 21st 11:00 PM PST.

Spoiler for November 22 Patch - full changelog:
Damn, that is a big package. Quite happy with the changes, especially the better spaced spawns. It got kinda silly if you spawned with an enemy in your face, gunning you down before you realize what's going on.
