A LAND MINE! A FREAKING LAND MINE :
heh: I haven't been here in awhile and I enter and get greeted by my Chief-chan! CHIEF! That sultry pose of her in her glory, her hair gently caressing her seductive curves, the way she looks down on me, ah I feel dominated already CHIEF-CHAN!!!! Tell me you have a name But hmm, I know I'm a little behind on this series (this and idolmAster), but it seems rather quiet here. Perhaps this thread needs a little "mangatron" (don't hunt me down, mods! XD) |

R-15 09 - Rated þ For Great Detectives, Alien Invasions, Scenes of Time Warping, Speculative Fiction in a Romantic Comedy, Mild Soft Notes Played on a Clarinet
I've been exposed to a strange amount of detective fiction lately. Sometimes in places where it's expected, sometimes in places where it's not expected at all. That Utae just happened to have a deerstalker cap and Holmes ensemble lying about was pretty amusing. As for the Chief, nothing about her was revealed, but that marks the second time today I've encountered weird vats of somethingorother in what was, up until this moment, a fairly natural, if exaggerated, love comedy. Though one gets the feeling she was doing this to bring Taketo and Fukune together, while dropping a few hints on the side. Taketo's more of a writer, and Fukune has little but music on her mind, so the two of them are both going to have a hard time at this. Even worse when Fukune's greatest competition, in her mind, appears to be another musician. Next week looks to bring that musical spotlight on her. Fukune, let the harmony of your heart sound! |

Not enough Chief even though she should be the center stage of this episode >.> not even her name was been revealed yet and until the end there are things that are meant not be known <.<
The good part was Utae and Taketo together and Fukune having hard time playing music because she is remembering Taketo and is having a hard time to concentrate and a little bit of Raika with fear of ghost and Ran helping with solving the mystery of the chief.

More Utae! Good for her that she got to spend so much time with Taketo, but i'm guessing he fell asleep before she could confess. Poor Narukara, seemss to be falling for Taketo but had to see him with Utae. Wonder what the Chief told her. Lol the Chief is an alien, wonder what those tubes were in the freezer.

lol? what just happened? this just went from full on ero to full on mystery. either it's a troll or buchou isn't really human.
still hate the stupid censoring, but looking at this episode does that mean we will get to see naked buchou in the bds? now that would be a real treat

Nice episode.
Liked the unsolved mystery of the chief. PLus, the Sherlck Holmes and Metal Gear references were nice, Utae looks cute in a deerstalker. Wonder what'll happen with Narukara?

R-15 10 - Rated Ɯ For 乙!, Eroge Festivals, Half Gender Flips of Old Stories, Mild Breakdowns
I figured it out when the "HIRAKEMI! Peace" single included a single track titled "Fukune's Clarinet", but it's become even clearer now than ever. Fukune is indeed a talented clarinetist. In the Otoya Kurenai manner of speaking. She only ever plays one song. Her clinging to Taketo at the end of the episode hints that behind that silent exterior, she's got quite a lot of things she wants to say. I expect that's what next week's for. As for the rest of this week, while Fukune views Utae as a rival, it's mutual. Utae was a pretty major player in this episode in general. Taketo's idea of an eros-themed festival was like something out of an eroge that has little on its mind but getting you to the sex scenes. And I don't have a problem with that. It looks like he had things in mind for both genders, if the banana stand is any indication. There's always money in the banana stand. The "Otsu!" variations of the OP and ED were played this week too. Not the most deviant variations, but they certainly were noticeable. Wonder where things are going to go from here. |

Best love triangle of the season, hands-down. Who'd have believed it.
Great episode. Really funny, nice use of ecchi, and beautifully developing the triangle, especially Utae. She's wearing me down - I was a Fukune supporter, but Utae really is a keeper. As Taketo himself said - she totally gets him and he can tell her anything. That's a pretty solid basis for a relationship.

it's truly indeed odd. When I'm watching the op someone just start singing too and he got Utae and Raika wrong.
The episode itself unexpectedly great and has lots of character development with romance in the air and love rivalry happening. Taketo doesn't have a harem. He only got the supportive and honest Utae-san and Narukara which is really quite and shy. The end part where Fukune suddenly cling to Taketo was indeed unexpected for me and kinda sweet but poor Utae. Going alone in the karaoke box. But it looks like Raika was monitoring her and Chief is just suddenly popping out of no where and disappearing. Giving such confusing advice to Taketo. Really indeed. Who shall Taketo look up too, I wonder He really cares for Fukune and speaks about Fukune all the time even though his with poor Utae. I wonder what will happen next.

Ok, it seems I wasn't being delusional. When I first him sing, I thought it was an advertisement or something.
The episode itself was great, I was expecting a harem at the start of the series with Taketo solving all the girl's problems. But it seems to be narrowed down to only two people and one of the rivals seems to have accepted defeat (but still dejected from it sadly Hang in there Utae-san!!) Now its time for Taketo to help Narukawa-san.
