The only reason multi shadow clone jutsu was considered "forbidden" is the high chakra level requirements make it impractical for most ninja. Sasuke doesn't have that problem so no reason why he can't use it.

Seems he inherited his chakra nature from his mother (fire lightning) rather than his fathers (wind)

as stated Sasuke doesn't have the chakra shortcomings of more other ninjas so he could handle it. It wouldn't be hard for Sasuke to copy the jutsu with his sharingan as well.

I think Boruto will have eye power, because Chidori is unusable without it. Kakashi said he wasn't able to use it properly until he gained the Sharingan from Obito.

Chidori straight into the Chakra points doesn't sound that bad. I do believe though that Boruto will use the Rasengan, infused with lightning

i doubt that kishi cares about stuff like that after war and kaguya arc i dont think that any kind of limit will stop kishi from doing whatever he wants

The sharingan is just needed for perception so they can see better to use the chidori effectively, and in terms of perception the byakugan is better than sharingan.

Sharingan is useful for Chidori because it have predicting movement feature.
By the time it created, Chidori weakness is easy to counter because its basically a straight-forward penetrating attack, not to mention user have to move at high speed to achieve maximum output, leading to tunnel vision which allowing enemies to counter it easier.

Byakugan ability does include ability to follow high-speed movement and 360 degree sight.
Personally I don't think its ideal for Chidori, but possible for another Raiton skill if Boruto decide to go with his own style.

I have to wonder how Himawari feels about his father, does she also hold something against Naruto for being so busy with work that he hardly gives any attention to his family?

I have a feeling that she would be more understanding than her seemingly hot-blooded, cocky and trouble-making brother

unless his mission is finished he won't be able to. The wannabe Uchiha aren't the real problem. These 2 likely are which means that he will be able to come back after the movie is over.
