Assuming I understand her nature correctly, she'd probably pass through there again next spring. And the spring after that. And the spring after that. Et cetra, ad infinitum.

Anway, in this episode we get to see more about what motivates Satsuki, and she gets a few important lessons. I particularly like the moment in the baths when she asks herself "when did I stop looking at the sky?" There's... something to be gained from that.

Yeah the end of the episode got a bit weird and oddly paced. Most of the episode was pretty good and enjoyable. But things got into a weird turbo mode when Satsuki got grabbed, then an entire festival is started up before we see what has happened to Satsuki much less having anyone look for her. Yet clearly there is this girl hanging like dead weight on the branches and no one seems to care.

Only after what felt like an oddly long amount of time did Yuzu actually look around and help her out of the tree. And then she got weirdly emotional after they started to leave. Did it really take her that long from when Satsuki told her all that to think about it and get emotional?

Still a pretty good episode. Overall I like the dynamic with Yuzu and Satsuki. Though I do expect them to pull away from those two and have Yuzu spend time with others.

Oh, God. I think my blood suger level rose by 200% with so much cuteness overload. I actually like the little bratty spirit of spring sister. She's funny. I guess they'll be moving on north spreading warmth throughout the land, then start all over again next year.

This chapter was way better than the first one and even have a little comedy with the little sister and satsuki, I hope this keep up.

Enjoyed the first episode.. and I think nothing at all is wrong with this show. I'm just not ready for another Amanchu kind of anime. So dropped for now, might pick up again later when I run out of things to watch.

I wonder if the BD will have nipples... anyway just a question don't know if I can ask here to someone who reads the manga that if this will turn full yuri?, I mean I don't mind the bait but I don't want another hina logic at the end.

Very much this. I also like how they did not back out and straight-up said they don't want customers confusing this to be a brothel. That was so cool! And also how they restored the atmosphere and the part where Natsume was comforting Ren.

She's essentially Lily White if you are familiar with Touhou. And on that note, I keep imagining her and her sister randomly firing spell bullets in all directions whenever they pass through

Now they have a pet baku? I wasn't expecting that. Usually they're presented as having longer noses.

I hope Satsuki and the others do go to visit her sister. I'd like to actually meet Hiiragi, rather than just see her from a distance, or in flashbacks.

The second half is not too surprising. The town sits on the border between worlds, after all.

A new ED! I can't make out much of it, but it sounds like the theme is summer? Will there be one for each season?

Then everything just went into turbo mode and... yeah... It was already weird that Yuzu was smiling when she found Satsuki hanging (dead) on the tree, but then you get an "emotional" scene where Yuzu realizes... something that isn't exactly something they should go do in episode 2. It was good to delve into their relationship a bit and get more insight. We had a decent grip on Ren from the first episode, but this was good for understanding Natsume a bit more. That flashback had me a bit worried. I thought those were bruises instead of spots of dirt.... I did like how Natsume at the end pretty quickly put the stop on any romantic interest from that kid. Unlike Ren who may be more conflicted, Natsume is pretty quick to basically say "nope, mine." I did also like how darn pissed she got about that creepy guest in the first half as well. I think if Ren hadn't already beaten the guy up (she's got some power) that Natsume would have. Glad as well that everyone basically united on that front. I didn't think Yuzu would see through the cliche "this is about a friend story" so credit to her there. Though that insight ended up with her being KO'd by Ren . __________________ Anime-Evo
