It has just been reported that the voice actor management Pro-Fit Inc. will be ceasing operations with regards to seiyuu support and management.

Pro-Fit Inc. is a seiyuu talent agency created in 2003, which housed many popular seiyuus such as Nobuhiko Okamoto, Kaito Ishikawa, Yuuki Aoi, Ai Fairouz, Akari Kito, Shun Horie, Manaka Iwami, Ikumi Hasegawa, Haruki Ishiya, and many more.

TIL a lot of Pro-Fit VAs voiced in Fate and Type-Moon works. Glad to see Hasegawa-san getting picked up by them just before they folded. With Okamoto as their new manager, she and her fellow former Pro-Fit VAs are in good hands.

That's assuming everyone there consistently landed major role

Take Ai Fairouz for example.
Sure she landed role for Jolyne Kujoh but most of her 2021 role come from mobile games.
Can't imagine how difficult it goes for listed male VAs that, considering their role in general, almost can be said dependant to shonen anime for male character supply and still competing with female VA or even veterans like Nakamura for male voice at some point.

Of course the anime / game also have their own plan, making it not as easy as it looks like.
I think Kanon got it right that the problem seems stems from the amount. Too many VA to handle.
Like, among names Kuudererules posted, you can say Yuuki Aoi is the most prominent as by now she appears in almost every anime and game compare to Ai, Ishikawa Kaito and Nobuhiko.

Looks like you are not monitoring their roles. For example, Ai Fairouz has one main and one secondary role just in this season anime (not counting JoJo) and another main role next season.

My point was that if the agency with this number of pretty popular seiyuu had to close, it is probably not due to being in debt. Otherwise the seiyuu industry would have collapsed already and all VAs went freelance.

Thus I mentioned comparison with Aoi Yuuki.

While she's everywhere, the rest (Nobuhiko, Ishikawa, Ai) in fact are not so much.
Sure, one major one minor sounds good, but how about last year, next year? Thus I leaned into same idea as Kanon.
To think how could a big agency shut down; assuming there's no legal issue (tax, licensing, contract) from main office involved, likely its issue of quality vs. quantity.

I have not watched Frozen (neither in original version, nor JP dub) and I am aware she was more proficient as a stage actress. Just that I remebered her from watching Binbougami ga! and Idoly Pride and because I watched a bunch of series "Trustrick" made songs for.
