That's values dissonance being exaggerated and misinterpreted, I've seen some in doujins. There's also Mikos/Nun/Holy Virgin and anal sex, definitely not something to be taken seriously.

Though, I also fond of cliffhanger (which tend to make my readers enraged)

@zero: I think the power rating is just high for weaponized objects not due to actual energy output but they just decrease time elapsed of energy released. weapons tend to release a lot of energy in a short timr frame so that's why there's such a high power output.

cores run on a steady state because they don't send energy in a required short time frame. so those 200kW can possibly power a 10MW beam weapon. this also makes sense if the weapon requires charging.

Ichika-Lingyin, though I think Ichika-Laura is even less plausible.

He came from Sarashiki household, since you hold faith in their 'accomplishment', I expect him to do just that good even if he's screwed twice over, being a normal guy.

It's a bit dubious when I imagine that giant mecha run on barely 100kW use 10MW guns.

They use capacitor, LOT'S of hypercapacitor. Their frame is 20% battery by weight alone, and they tend to weight at least four times normal I.S. frame... at the very least. Also, multiple reactors.

Of course, this mean they require very long recharge time but wut, they have lot's of low powered deterrent weapon and point defense, and they always been deployed with I.S. task force, never as stand alone unit.

As long as number of cores didn't increased, I don't think so. Likely it's another factor that become the cause (such as forced political or military takeover by feminist)

Cecilia might also included, but at the very least she didn't hate Ichika as much as Laura does, she STILL keep most of her personality intact. While Laura goes form RAEG to grotesque moe.
