"Proof" implies you can make definitive statements about a series. What may "good" to me, may not to be to you. I could be here all night talking about why I like the AC universe, After War or 00 but that doesn't mean you'd agree with those points.

My problem with that statement is that the towers in 00 are one of the most realistic pieces of sci-fi hardware ever presented in Gundam. There is an incredible force in the field of materials research to push carbon nanotubes (or some other material) that last factor of two plus safety margin in tensile strength until orbital elevators become technically (if not financially) viable.

I'm hoping for a 00 side story or prequel. The mangas are pretty good and they have some real potential. I don't want another AU series. It's a waste to drop something with potential. 00's universe has prequel and sequel potential and I hope that's where it's going to be.

If not, then UC. Can't beat UC.

Even then, what exactly is wrong with the giant flower station?

The ELS see it in Setsuna's mind given to him by Feldt, as a gift. They pretty much do the same thing, transform their overall menacing planetoid into a beautiful megalithic scaled flower. A gift to mankind, and probably as an apology.

I just...I just don't see the game breaker with that.
