You know, I wonder what would happen if someone does a crossover with Muv-Luv with High School DxD, like in one of Takeru's loops he would posses the "Divine Dividing" sacred gear.

Or funnier - replace Takery with Issei Hyodou.

No! Absolutely No!

Issei replaces Shirogane? That would only bring thing to an even worse status!

How? It's not like Shirogane is anything special in the beginning of Muv-Luv.

Were it not for his TSF skills, he would have been largely useless.

Better to have someone that normal than learning how to survive. That's the rule of Muv-Luv - You can't just win by talent.

Okay, I honestly have an idea for a new ML fanfic this time.

More Fic-related than ML proper, but I was just thinking: G-elements in ML:A are named after Dr. William Gray of Ros Alamos National Labs. Putting my Conspiracy Theorist hat on, I find it odd that a person in the US would be able to 'discover' these elements and help develop technology around sufficient to produce G-Bombs and the like. He'd either have to be a Yuuko-level genius or...someone who has at least minila knowledge of the elements--EG someone who KNOWS what he's looking at, what it's looking for and how to use it.

...and reveling just enough technological use for the G-Elements so that humanity can use it, but not to it's fullest potential...

I jus can't help but wonder...Doctor William "Gray"...

Wavehawk, that is both an interesting and disturbing idea. Wonder how would MiB look like in ML?

Not that hard.

Seriously, you could probably make a reasonably entertaining X-Files/Muv-Luv crossover if you have a working knowledge about UFO/conspiracy theories. Like theorizing that the BETA coming to earth was no accident, and that the reason some people in the USA have been pushing for Alt V so hard is because that was the plan all along...

Speaking of men in black and muv luv...

Imagine a MiB agent sitting in a dinner with his rookie partner. They're reading the news paper and the rookie makes a comment about how sucky the fight against the BETA is going whereupon the senior agent goes and replys that there is no alien invasion which illicits the rookies eyes to bug out whereupon the senior agent explains that the US government sold Europe and Asia to the BETA superior in exchange for g elements, the hive that the US nuked to oblivion was simply delivering the goods... And thus is explained why the US of A doesn't really participate in the BETA war.

This was rather funny when I first thought of it...
Then it took on a very dark tone once I wrote it...
Yeah...

Just a question, how would the Imperil Guard of 40k fare against the BETA? I know they have some success's against the Tyrranids, ant they're far more ferocious then BETA.

- I'll use a faux roman term for this: Crunchius Morselus. ImpGuard are infantry and standard troops. While numerous they're probably not going to be any more effective than standard troops, even if they have boltgun weaponry.

Better call Space Marines. Probably a squad or two.

I'll repeat something I wrote in my fic:

---------------------
The Colonel then casually tossed a can, which Elle caught easily.

"Spam?" Burkhart looked quizzically at the object in her hands.

"I like a bit of meat during the day." Wilkes drawl was sarcastic.

"That's what we are to the BETA. What we all are." Lumumba answered for the Colonel. "TSF pilots, tank drivers--doesn't matter. A can of Spam. Open it up, bite into the soft juicy red meat inside."

Burkhart swore she would never eat Spam again.
---------------------

Space Marines are tougher than ImpGuard but though they'll survive longer it'll still be all about attrition.

Anyway, if for one we truly wiped out BETA, how long would you guy bet for the TSF to be turned into scrap? I mean man-made missiles could be as lethal to them as a Laser.
I don't think they'll be scrapped. I think war will resume between Allies, bring WW III. TSF will be the basic weapon of war.

well, the IG has powerful Tanks and Artillery, not to mention the Imperial Navy backing them up from orbit.

It's widely accepted that any faction that is capable of providing orbital supremacy and orbital bombardment can beat the BETA.

>Implying IG wouldn't be able to stomp BETA

Hahahahahaha, lol no.

They would drive over them, and not even notice it. Unlike the IJA/IRG, the IG is not limited to shitty ammunition that was outdated by 1945 - if a Bolter can penetrate Space Marine armor, you can be sure it'll go through Ruritare shell like it's not there.

And most BETA aren't armored either, so basic lasgun with eviscerate them. Mind, the lasgun is bottom-tier only because Guard regularly fights superpowered deamons, superpowered demonic Space Marines and aliens that fire black hole guns. Against an unarmored target, it's literally capable of blowing off an arm with ease.

BETA laser spam? Yeah, well, good luck with that when almost every second vehicle in Guard's arsenal is an artillery truck. Let's see for how long can Lasers keep it up. And then we have Baneblades, which casually fuck over anything that BETA can throw at them, including Carriers and Laser-Fort.

That's before we factor in orbital fire support.

And that's before we factor in the tremendously broken logistics of Imperium of Man and its Guard. The IoM fields billions of regiments, easily enough to populate Earth billion times over. Because, you know, they kinda control the Galaxy. And the Guard is their mainstay force.

So to Guard, BETA would be small-time. Especially compared to Tyranids.

One does not simply fight the grimderp.

The Cadians and 40k Rambos would make short work of the BETA with ease.
