I don't think I could get too excited about a remake since the TV series is practically perfect already. It aged incredibly well and still looks gorgeous to this day.

Consider myself ambivalent about this.
As many have said, the series is complete. Any other project would just be milking the fossilized cow.

Good god, my poor nostalgia switch is breaking.

Thought seriously, I'd be up for a reboot, but more likely it'll be a new project. I wouldn't mind seeing an older SakuraxShaoran. (Two names I never thought I'd get the chance to say again in unison )

But also seriously, you've got all these reboots and continuations of old animes going on........as someone already said, WHERE'S MY RUROUNI KENSHIN REBOOT??!!. Better yet where's my skip-to-the-Revenge-Arc??!!

well... this was surprising. This came out of no where that I didn't expect this one. Then again sailor moon got a remake >_>

well I'm a bit skeptical for this one. Card captor sakura is one of the first anime's that I collected. the box is even collecting dust now but the series and movie is already good. I don't want it to be tarnished by a disastrous remake.

...I'm actually not excited about this. I'm too afraid that whatever it is will end up dashing all my hopes and dreams.

I would prefer anything with an adult Sakura and Syaoran rather than a reboot. The old series is good enough even today

Whatever it is, i'm sure it won't be as bad as the Sailor Moon remake.

Someone ought to do a Kickstarter for the Jinshuu Arc - it would be novel to have a Kickstarter campaign that's actually useful for a change. There's obviously a huge amount of interest.

Okay, guys, enough with the Rurouni Kenshin wishes talk. This isn't the place to indulge in those.

Do not forget Dragon ball status once "completed" but they reboot it as Kai then just recently decided to continue as Super
it maybe reboot but we can hope for continuation after the reboot.

Kai wasn't a reboot though. It was just the original anime with the filler skipped over and new theme songs.

Plus Cardcaptor Sakura already has a continuation in Tsubasa so I wouldn't be surprised if this was a fullon reboot.

I don't see any difference
Kai is reboot thety basically restart the same plot with a small modify.
Amazing Spiderman is reboot from Sam Raimi Spiderman with all differences plot but it still treated as "reboot"

I have no problem with attemps to bring older works into the younger generation. I have a problem with the execution of said attempts being needlessly overworked and/or poor.

Okay. I've read about the possibilities of a CCS reboot a couple of years ago. Never thought that they will actually do an anniversary project.

This really piqued my interest, so far. But I'm keeping my expectations not too high.

^ *phew* Thank heavens.

If today's kids want to know what Cardcaptor Sakura is then let them watch the damn series & movies instead of waiting for a remake. It's old but it's a very good mahou shoujo show and adaptation.
