Just saw the first ep...the animation quality...dang...it was a feast for ma eyes. But I was hoping to see that character in the promo image from before - saw him only briefly in the OP at the end.

Admittedly I'd had a preconception based on that one last year with the pretty boys who were swords hanging out, but this was action-packed and had the whole 'stopping history from being changed' thing going for it, so I'll check out a few more episodes.

For someone like me who had no knowledge of this series beyond being based on an otome game I thought it was pretty solid start. Especially so for something not being on my radar until today. I found the pilot pretty easy to follow despite my unfamiliar with source and is there not much needing to be said about ufotable's fantastic production quality. I don't know if I will stick with it all the way yet, but for now I can definitely tentatively commit to it for 3 episodes at least.

eh, the first episode was pretty weak. aside from looking good, i didn't resonate with any of the characters. i think Kakegurui had a significantly stronger hook.

I enjoyed it more than the slice of life version's first episode. Still wasn't particularly impressive and the cg mooks were a bit lame but I'll probably stick with it for those nice visuals.

Ufotable animation is just glorious as usual! Not much can be said about the first episode besides the production quality. I need a little bit more about the story and characters to see if i actually like it or not. The main theme is cool tho.

The only thing i really dislike was knowing that the master/boss/leader of the main characters is a kid.... i hate when they do stuff like that, honestly...

I already like this more than the other Touken (Hanamaru) show.

Animation improved thanks to ufotable and it seems to take a more serious approach with the characters. I'm not too invested into the storytelling yet but I think I'll give this series more chances. So far, has my interest for sure.

The animation was pretty as expected of Ufotable and the story seems interesting, so I think I'll stick with this. My only problem besides the complete lack of female characters (although I assume there will be a heroine) is that it looks like they won't change eras nor locations based on the OP. I hope the OP is misleading about that, because that would be a waste of a good premise. There are so many things you can do with time travel, why limit yourself?

Animation is Incredible(Except at times those villans but work as strange creatures) but i dunno what the hell they're doing in the fight, hope more episodes explain that about timetravelling and the evil army of time changers...

Knowing just the premise of the source material, what we saw in this episode is about all we can expect. Cast is all-male, environments are all pre-20th century Japan.
