Plot Summary:

Quote:

The story of the light novel series revolves around Lux, a former prince of an empire named Arcadia that was overthrown via a rebellion five years earlier. Lux accidentally trespasses in a female dormitory's bathing area, sees the kingdom's new princess Lisesharte naked, and incurs her wrath. Lisesharte then challenges Lux to a Drag-Ride duel. Drag-Rides are ancient armored mechanical weapons that have been excavated from ruins all around the world. Lux used to be called the strongest Drag-Knight, but now he's known as the "undefeated weakest" Drag-Knight because he will absolutely not attack in battle. After his duel with Lisesharte, Lux ends up attending the female-only academy that trains royals to be Drag-Knights. (ANN)

It looks like Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut is getting an anime adaptation.

It's nice to see Lerche works on a series whose CGI effects doesn't belong to Larx Entertainment (which do well that department in most of the studio's series) so that's fine. It seems Ayumu Kasuga is responsible for the artwork for an anime adaptation for the third time as well. As far the PV goes, music sounded a bit like Tatsuya Katou though considering his repetitive music gimmicks used in his recent works as of late, I can already see where it'll be handled.

Premise-wise, it's prettily unoriginal but I liked the idea of having a hero who used to be strong and then loses his strength all of a sudden due to a shred of dark past and therefore he wants to go back to his old days. Whatever that said, I'll see where it goes.

Yep, Orange is handling the 3DCG in this one too. In fact they are collaborating in around 3-4 shows next season. And talking about collaboration the 2D visuals by Lerche look neat as well, hype level moderately rising.

Showing yoruka does not mean that volume 4-5 will be adapted. Why are you guys so worked up? Personally, I think it would be better if it adapted to volume 4 for the better ending.

Sorry but after Antimagic failure I can't be positive about this. First news that it will be butchered by hulu and now this... Also, OP is really focused on Lisha... You know, that Lux hand reaching to he sky and grasping Lisha arm - IMO animu spoiled us who will be winner in LN!

OP song is catchy, Lux often praising the girls, action reminds me of IS somewhat, and well...yeah, pretty generic stuff. I expect the censored parts to be uncensored in BDs. __________________
