The BD release is coming out on April 20th which is this week.

It's basically a 2 hour recap of the movie which will feature 100 cuts of new footage.

Well, if there's one great thing about Fam is its visuals. The story might not be as good as the original Last Exile, but it's still an enjoyable watch for me. So yeah, I'll be checking out the movie with the new animation when I get the chance.

IMHO the story in Fam was better. First LE had better characters but predictable and quite cliche story.

Nice. I really enjoyed the anime even though I never saw the first series. Hopefully the movie will be good.

I'm still on the fence of whether or not to buy the movie because who knows how short or long those 100 new cuts will be like or how well the recap is going to be done, but then again the art-book should be nice.

I hated the tv series, but the movie wasn't half bad. They removed most of the cringe-worthy moments so it was a clear improvement.

I decided to buy the movie because the lack of proper RAWs, and I will get in the mail on Monday or Tuesday. I will upload some pics on the packaging if anybody wants to see them.

I will be force to watch this in raw without any subtitles since I doubt anybody will sub it soon.

Cool, I'm glad to hear that the movie wasn't that bad. I hope it's 5.1 sound at least.
