There has been, if I'm not mistaken.

Only one though, lulz.

Not that I'm interested in bishi-figures, but I wouldn mind getting some quality figures of the more prominent male characters - now, I'm lucky if I can find just one of them and in most cases it will be a trading figure (like Harima Kenji from School Rumble)

Although now they are even putting English and other subtitles on the BRS DVD or on the Haruhi BluRay. I think that a sign of improvement

You speak as if the majority of all figure collectors worldwide aren't male. I'm sure that them making mostly female figures isn't hurting female-wanting collectors, regardless of location.

And yeah, they don't think about those outside of Japan, but it's not an active dislike or burning hatred; they're just blissfully ignorant and let the stores who ship their figures worldwide handle the foreigners. I wouldn't say that we're on their B& list, even though I do wonder at the significance and point of exclusive online releases and what exactly they're trying to accomplish. Unlike eroge makers. who outright hate foreigners, the arses.

Finally ordered my display case today but will take a while for them to prepare and ship it so I have to wait more, uuu. Still, will be nice to have a place to keep them safe from kitties while showing them off.

Particularly since I've discovered the value of at least one of them now. ;.; ~Triple its original price. I guess some figures just appreciate well. I really want a Sonic Fate, but they're not selling for under $400 USD anymore which makes me very sad.

Haha.

True that, I still haven't taken mine out of the box yet.

Thanks again for posting yours, it's a really good figure even with the extra baggage.

Wha, it's not good? 1/8, def one of the best male anime figures out there except the traps?

And oh god the traps. There's no improvement for making "male" figures when they're just of guys who like looking like cute girls anyway...

Haha, I just don't think that figure does Kamina justice. It just doesn't feel like it capture his do or die attitude.

Of course we are but still there are a few male characters out there that should deserve a larger variant of PVC figures. Like Kamina, as mentioned. Only having that Uplark figure is a disgrace

And there's the matter of female collectors wanting all their favourite bishis to be released, but I'm not really interrested in that

It is a disgrace, considering a certain one of Kamina's costars has a plethora of figurines made for her. And not even Simon gets one, an he's the main guy. Oh

Bishie figurines? That or GAR, I can't decide

GAR, obviously (for I'm a man).

I would certainly buy Harima Kenji, Simon, Archer, Kyon, Alto (Macross F), Nozomu Itoshiki (Zetsubou-sensei), Jeremiah "Orange-kun" Gotttwald (CodeGeass), Alucard + Alexander Anderson in a large PVC-format

I'll second those as well as Hachimaki in his EVA suit (Planetes), Kouta totting the AR-10(T) SR25 conversion (HotD) and Uchida Kazuhiro in his flight suit (Yomigaeru Sora)

Speaking of lack of figurines. What's with the relatively limited selection for Code Geass ones? Wasn't it a really popular show? I was trying to find a good C2, but of the few that they did produce, all were just totally off =/

Maybe Bandai asked so much for the copyright that no one bought it - except for Megahouse

The Bride figures turned out nice, I think...

Hmm i like the second one but thats my opinon lol. The alter seems to have more detail plus the pose is much cooler in my perspective.

I bought the C.C romantic variation online on ebay since i reckon it was the best looking one but there are bootlegs of those now. Reason why i asked how i check for bootlegs >.<
But the person i bought it off was located in Japan so i think i should be fine, plus it look pretty fine to me.
They might release a red dress version but i dunno if that was real >.>

I've also made a MyFigureCollection account if anyone wants to add me :P
I just started collecting so i won't have any super good figures lol

Alter Fate is likely to be the more solid figure, but there is no denying the originality with Resinya...And Resinya's does have a very detailed chest/stomach area.

Haha, yeah, I do like the face/body sculpt on the Resinya a lot better. I like the subdued tones on it too vs the shiny look on the Alter one. However, the Alter one has a kick ass pose and more weapons >.>
