Comix Wave huh? That's the production company that Makoto Shinkai uses for his films and the company that owns minori who did VNs like ef fairy tale of the two and eden*. Somewhat intrigued that they are doing an OVA.

Actually that's normal for them. They've been producing several OVAs and movies over the years and seem very supportive towards upcoming creators. Shinkai just happens to be their golden goose. Also, I don't recall ever hearing that they own minori?

Anyway the first KonoDan was okay for an independent production. That fact alone made it easy for me to overlook it's faults. I'll be interested to see where this installment goes and hopefully Soubi Yamamoto actually pays a bit more attention to actually animating her movements this time.

The animation looks limited as usual. Can't say I like the look of the merman... I wonder whether she'll even try holding back on the BL subtext this round.
