^ I know that is mid-term and im not complaining either. I'm fine as long they do it (time is not a concern). We just want news like *we will be delaying it due to hwk/work/family problems and all*. Otherwise we leave with a -->. I perfectly fine with waiting just wondering any *News* on it.

Takako helped Mizuho do research about the school's past. But when she asked Mizuho what he was researching and he said "ghosts," it freaked Takako out and she ran away. I think Takako is not so much Mizuho's enemy any more, but we'll see what happens.

Sounds like they did the switcheroo with plot progression in ep. 5, and moved the swim class fiasco to a later time.

The church scene was supposed to be the first sex scene (sex as in they did it sex), but obviously here they just waved it away with a forehead kiss. It was done very well though.

They're kicking the plot into high gear with the introduction of Mizuho's presumably deceased mom...

Hopefully the swim class scenes won't be excised entirely

Mizuho and Takako (the president of the student council) are in different classes. But they have chosen the same optional course (maybe Shion didn't take it), so they sometimes meet and have a talk there.

I totally laughed my head off at Takako's response when she heard spirits. I really like her aloof and "fake friendly" persona with the true self when she completely freaks out. She's really cute desu~

Yes well, that's to be expected from the person who won the official character vote.

The supporters of Mizuho and Takako were duking it out with each other, as you probably notice in the graph.

The difference of votes between these 2 characters and the other characters are not because of they are more popular, but because of their "extremeness" of these two's fans . By the end, it was obvious that that the winner will either be Mizuho or Takako.

Takako won by 60 something votes more than Mizuho by the end of the vote(if I remember correctly), but Caramel didn't shut down the voting page, so the disgruntle Mizuho fans started to spam their votes .

Episode five contain two subplots.

Spoiler:

1. Yukari overcoming her ghost phobia towards Ichiko and both befriending each other, making Ichiko a now official member of the girl's dormitory.

2. Mizuho fulfilling Ichiko's wish for she to become his bride. That's why he took her to the Church and both exchanged memories of the same Elder for which Ichiko's platonic feelings overflowed- Sachiho, Ichiko's mother.

Ichiko's affair was fairly solved up in this episode with a major twist added toward the end.

She's returned to stay likely because in a certain manner she has become the bride to Mizuho.

Other intesting details that the episode covered.

1. Mizuho's the spitting image of his mother.

2. It is made clearly why his grandpa enrolled him at Seiou Academy. His daughter, Mizuho's mother, Sachiho, studied there and wanted for Mizuho only to learn about his mother's legacy; to build and have more happy memories of Sachiho.

The episode possesed quite a substantious amount of dense drama, but Ichiko's ghostscapades prevented the tone from turning gray and murk.

It's not big deal with little boys getting confused or being portrayed with girlish traits.
When I was about three or four-years-old my hair grew fairly long and had this girly looks on my face.

The reason why I have my hair short and never had it grown long for the rest of my childhood until now was because my maternal grandma became outraged at that time she saw me with my hair long; she confused me for a girl and had adviced my mother to cut it and keep it short.

My maternal grandma grew up in those forgotten, narrow-minded ages where boys traits belong EXCLUSIVELY to boys and girls traits belong EXCLUSIVELY to girls; boys do ONLY boys stuff and girls do ONLY girls stuff.

And my grandma is quite far old, nearly 100 years-old and still living well.

Anyone else notice they always cover up anything that could confirm he was actually a guy or girl? All you see is what the characters say, all the flashbacks show him looking very much like he does now, cept no dress.

I've never played the game, but it makes you wonder if they are going to pull a "suprise" on us at the end. Ah well, at least now we have a much better idea of why he's going to this school.

I took a look at that, and he/she seemed to be leaning forward, too, so he could be covering both parts: one because he wasn't wearing his breasts, and one for obvious reasons. And supposedly Mariya did show Ichiko he was male by flipping up his skirt. So I'm still going on the basis that he is male. I'm prepared to be surprised, but it would require (1) Mariya to actually think he was male (possible if he's been masquerading as a boy for many years), and (2) Ichiko not to recognize the difference (possible if she's really, really innocent). I do recall that in ep2 during the breast-fondling scene, Shion said that they were a bit warm, which would make them pretty realistic. But unfortunately it is a bit too much of a stretch, since...

Personally I'm wondering if, when Mariya flips up Mizuho's skirt, she's actually showing that he wears boxers (or at least men's briefs), which then implies that he's a guy. I'm not sure if Mizuho is willing to walk around, even in a skirt, with, er, nothing there. Or if he's actually wearing panties.

In any case, if it's the boxers thing, then the argument could possibly be made that it is just as possible for a girl to wear boxers. Not likely, but possible.

Of course, I'm still of the belief that Mizhuho is definitely a guy, rather than a girl pretending to be a guy pretending to be a girl.
