She was a cheery and positive girl. Even the whole 'I don't know what I'm going to do with my future' bit was simply 'I haven't figured out what I'm going to do yet.' There was no dwelling, no moping and certainly no crying.

Still, so far the trailers show no sign of Nanoha holding the same problems in the movie. And I really can't see them spending too much time digging into that aspect and Fate's past combined while keeping the plot rolling. Heck, even the manga seems to have stopped touching upon it (or at least they haven't continued yet).

Maybe it was done to give Nanoha and Fate a another connection besides 'sad eyes.' You know, "two girls with serious emotional trouble, they match perfectly!" and all.

I'd love to be a psychiatrist in that world. A girl with no direction in her life, a girl without her mother's love, a girl who has lived alone for much of her life, a girl who is a clone of the equivalent of Jesus, a clone boy ripped from his family and experimented on, a girl cast out of her tribe for a power she was born with, a girl who has the memories of a dead king, and that's just the nine year olds. When we get to the teens we've got a whole army of biological weapons and a girl who lost her entire family.

Yeah, to say the majority of the Nanoha cast can have serious issues if the author wants it would be an understatement.
*giggle*

You're funny! :3

I do hope that the movie will turn out well...

I've had "Phantom Minds" on replay with my iPod ever since I got it. It's funny, but listening to it actually has me kind of excited about the movie.

Replace the OP with the ED theme and that's me! :3! Actually, I'm really curious about the movie with Nana crying like that.

But speaking of Nana-sama, managed to watch Diamond and some bits of it with audio commentary - Nana's favourite song is innocent starter? Really? Am I misunderstanding? 'A'

And I totally forgot about Agematsu Mika's harp cover of Super Generation. It's pretty nice.

I think emo zombie is a slight exaggeration. Nothing wrong with a kid to have a little angst. And it's not like it's Ikari Shinji-level emotional distress. If anything, I think it fleshes out her character and gives it a little extra depth.

Anyways... *goes back to work, doing nothing*

Magical Emo Girl Nanoha? No way! In the Nanohaverse, Emoness is cured by one use of Starlight Breaker.

But on the other hand, angst or other such feelings isn't a bad thing if it comes naturally with the story. Certainly going around fighting monsters and rival mages is gonna generate conflicts that are gonna leave one uncomfortable.

I didn't say Nanoha was "weak." I just said that she was DEEPLY dissatisfied with her life; to the point of pain. So when she got a chance to change EVERYTHING; took it and ran with it; to the edge of the Earth and beyond. Literally.

So, PHANTOM MINDS got a truck. I knew the Nanoha PSP game got a truck.

So I should have seen it coming that the movie would get a truck.

新世代魔法少女

Why does that look so strange to me?

That's hilarious, and kinda awesome, though I admit to having no clue what you meant by truck at first

The more I look at it, the more I want to laugh at how utterly hilarious and out of place it looks.

Yeah, I'm sure it'll look a little more out of place than Mizuki Nana's "ad trailers".

Hoping people will post videos of the Movie and PSP game ones, just to have something to giggle at since it'll be a while 'til most of us can see the movie.

But yeah, those truck things scare me. Mate complained about hearing Gimmick Game and Etsuraku Camellia 24/7 while she was in Japan and doesn't like the songs anymore. I can kind of see why.

Once again for more emphasis, I'm really happy that Nana got #1 in Oricon for weekly. If there's anybody who's been more devoted and contributed so much with an artistic and unique flair to her profession, it's gotta be her imho. I can't wait to hear her performance for Fate once again.

Okay! Since this is a limited time thing that involves not figures or anything, decided to re-direct it here. sup google translations.

I DON'T WANT TO EAT NANOHA. ;A;

Nanoha Menu

Takamachi Nanoha ~Meeting of Magic~ Honey Toast mode - 1080yen
Admiral Lindy Tea Set - 680 yen
Alisa Lunch Box - 780 yen

Fate Menu

Fate Testarossa ~Jet Black Mage~ Honey Toast form - 1080 yen
Cafe Midoriya Cake Set - 680 yen
Alisa Lunch Box - 780 yen

Menus are at different locations, but some shops look near enough each other. Er, wtf are these places. Clicking the place in the menu thing makes me think these are fancy party rooms or something, lol.
