2nd pv - new voice actresses:
quote from ANN: "The video also reveals that five new cast members will be joining the series, with Yui Horie as Yūka, Nao Tōyama as Honoka, Yuko Gibu as Hikari, Aya Hisakawa as Aoi's mother, and Seirou Ogino as Hinata's father." |

No subtitles yet because it wasn't licensed by Crunchyroll. The voice actresses of two of the new characters were also in the Tamayura series, Nao Tōyama (Honoka) and Yuko Gibu (Hikari ).

Just watched the raw and it is a classic example of cgdct...to the max.
Nice to have both an OP and an ED, and both fit the series fine, I think. Essentially the ep looks at the four girls setting up and staying overnight in a tent while preparing their food as if they were on a long distance hike. Very nice overall, if not the deepest thing in the world. If you liked season 1 you will like season 2. It is definitely more of the same. tl;dr? I liked it! ^^

There are English subs already. If it was just licensed by Crunchyroll we would have them the moment it airs in Japan, now we have them the next day. "Reaching the peak makes your Girl Power stronger!" They mentioned that again : Aoi, do you have someone you like? Aoi: I don't. Hinata: There you go again. What about Yoneda-kun? Aoi: That was in grade school. Last edited by l.kostas; 2014-07-10 at 23:23. |

It took some work to find it, since the episode isn't showing up in the places I normally look.
It's the girls being cute again. Which is what I was looking for, so that's fine. It's been long enough that I've lost track of who everyone was. I should go back and watch the first season again. Have we met Aoi's mother before? I don't remember there being anyone so strongly opposing her doing things with her friends like that...

I was going to say that I was surprised that Crunchyroll hadn't got this as they had the first season.
But I checked, and found that they have just announced it! |

Great to see this show back again with longer episodes and a longer run.

In this episode we see one thing about this show that is a bit different to the usual 'cute girls doing cute things' shows - it's kind of informational. The whole putting up the tent and cooking the curry sequences show you how to do those things in a way most shows don't go into. Which is cool. |

I actually did the same thing and re-watched season one four or five days before season two's initial ep aired.
I also kinda see ep one as an "info dump" (at least of the sort that the series is likely to give), but enjoyed it quite a bit. Best part is that this will be stretching over into the Fall season too. ^^

Just watched the first season including the ova episode and toughly enjoyed it. Second season begins the season with not only four times the length but also 24 episodes. This is going to awesome. Them setting up the tent was quite informative too makes me think the staff knows their stuff hey they might have even went climbing for research. The mom might have been overprotective but I understand how she feels, going to assume she'll be all right later on. Those dreams were pretty wild if you ask me. Now which mountain are they going to climb next, Mt Fuji? Anyway really enjoyed this episode an will continue watching this to see where they climb to next. Also I'm digging the opening and ending and I'm having a hard time choosing which one is better.
